Formatting - generating lists

Unordered list

An unordered list outputs each item in your list sequentially one after the other indenting each with a bullet character.

To create an unordered list type the list then highlight and click on the List button. Move your cursor to the beginning of each item in the list and click the [*] button.

The result is:

  • Red
  • Blue
  • Yellow

Ordered list

An ordered list outputs each item in your list sequentially one after the other indenting each with a bullet character.

To create an unordered list type the list then highlight and click on the List= button. Move your cursor to the beginning of each item in the list and click the [*] button.

To insert the character you want the list to begin with as an example a "1" insert the "1" after the = and before the ].

The result is:

  1. Go to the shops
  2. Buy a new computer
  3. Swear at computer when it crashes

Or if you want list to begin with an "a" insert the "a" after the = and before the ].

  1. The first possible answer
  2. The second possible answer
  3. The third possible answer
