Hi to cats online but who according to me is up at 2 am in Ca.

Had a busy Friday morning cleaning the house, all the usual maintenance that I have been putting off. DH hung the washing out which is not usual but I have asked him to do it every Friday and cook twice a week, after nearly 46 years I think it is high time he helped out. We will see how this goes, beginning to feel like an old maid literally .

Finished grand cleaning the laundry/office which was last weeks room. Considering I am the one organizing this, bit late. Once I make the beds in the spare rooms though and clean the windows, that will finish them for this week 10.

I feel I am spending too much time trying to work out routines, and on reading blogs on,planners than actually doing the work.Even though I have kept a planner for probably 20 years now I like to read up what others are doing and avoiding actually doing it. I have now read all my SHE cards and the shock of all the cleaning still happened after I first did it years ago. The house now has been cleaned top to bottom in every room bar my craft room, I can not get into that yet lol. So I really need to hurry up with routines to keep it that way. Finding 2014 as the date of the newspaper on top of a high kitchen cupboard, to help with grease, is a tad late.

Hope you all have a great day

Hi Kaz.
We had some sunshine this morning but clouds are back.

I went to an online support group.
Answered the phone to someone speaking 'asian' Hung up on them.

Needs to happen
Ring super co, and see if they can get the info I need to me.

late lunch.
plan dinner.

if I was 'good' I'd fill the green bin. and toss some o/d mats. (I finally read 'porch' zone of grand cleaning plan.)
Just begin.

Sunday is just finishing up. It is 2C (34F ish)outside, a rare event our weather is sub tropical rarely gets this low. Love my fire warms the place up. Spent today at the community garden and picked the first of our cabbages , it was was huge, so I cut it into 3 for various members.

Grand cleaning plan week 12 verandah/Porch or outside. Last week, glad and it is over now. I started out with 31 joining in down to probably 5 at the most. I need to finish painting my verandah before anything else, but still on week 10.

Visited my dementia mum last Thursday. Not sure of any recognition, and she is getting very frail. My sister comes with me, during a late lunch hour as she works. Much better for both of us to chat as mum has no speech that is recognisable. Our brother and SIL are arriving in July from Melbourne (roughly 2 hr. Flight) to visit, they came last Nov. and will notice a big change.

DH had a positive to a bowel screening, and now we are waiting on the hospital for a date for a colonoscopy, he doesn't seem at all worried, so I will do that for him. Trying to get him to finish off my raised garden beds before that happens, but a lot of his time goes to the Commnity Garden rather than ours. Think he loves being with the boys and helping them with his woodwork metalwork knowledge, was a teacher. The C garden is still new at 1 year old so lots of structures happening.

Well time for bed. Enjoy your Sunday.

Hugs Kaz.
wtg growing and sharing the upper cabbage, and all you do in the C gardens.
Prayers for your DM to be at peace, and for family at this time.
WTG also for the jobs done thru your grand cleaning plan.

I did finally toss some old door mats, and mildewed not crocs that I had no intention of wearing again from the front, also swept out here, and attacked the front door screen. I expect there are some who consider the sweeping to be a daily duty.

Subtropical be darned today. wind off the snow fields far away does a number on subtropical.
I didn't look this morning to see the temp, but it was so hard to move from my bed, and everyone kept their big jumpers on through yoga today.

Lots of sad news from my town both yesterday and Friday evening. Prayers for all families affected.
Just begin.

Been a big day today Thurs. Met the special Ed high school kids at the community gardens, and a few strong boys started turning the compost over, others watered. They come every two weeks, and next term we will have pre schoolers joining in. That will be fun.The men put up an entrance arch today, and DH inscribed our moto "Digging for Health and Happiness" into it. The arch is painted gray and the words white which two of us painted this morning.looks great.

We are joining in a winter solstice festival with the hall right opposite to us with about 20 yards of grass between, so in front of the entrance we will put a sale table, with some bits and pieces and a gold coin donation will get you a tour. All happens Sat from 2pm. This festival has been getting bigger every year. Hopefully next year we will join in properly, the hall is supposed to let us know when things are on, but never do, this time we were given 1 weeks notice, only because fireman are coming and someone suggested they spray the water over the gardens.

There will be markets stalls, a bonfire, choir, music, food etc. We need to make money and the land lends itself to more markets stalls for sure, (with a fee of course). If our pavilion goes up this year, we have a pizza oven and bbq to go in also. Then watch out solstice festival!!!

Visited mum this afternoon, but she kept nodding off so we only stayed 3/4 hr. Dont think she knew us.

My big cleaning day tomorrow Friday, so much to do.
