Why: Mislabeling. Egg allergen not declared on the label.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that Kashi, of La Jolla, California, is recalling approximately 2,790 pounds of Kashi Southwest Style Chicken products because the packages may instead contain Kashi Chicken Pasta Pomodoro, which contains an undeclared allergen, egg. Egg is a known allergen, which may not be declared on the label.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that Yamaya USA a Torrance, California, establishment, is recalling approximately 612 pounds of pork loin cutlet fritter products because they contain monosodium glutamate (MSG) which is not declared on the label.
Lean Cuisine Spaghetti with Meatballs Recall

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that Nestle Prepared Foods Company, a Gaffney, South Carolina, establishment, is recalling approximately 10,260 pounds of frozen spaghetti and meatball entrees that may contain foreign materials.
The products subject to recall include:
9.5 oz. packages of Lean Cuisine Simple Favorites, Spaghetti with Meatballs.
The packages bear the establishment number "Est. 7991" and the case code "0298595519P" and a best before date of November, 2011 printed on the side of the package, underneath the ingredient listing. The spaghetti and meatball products were packaged on Oct. 25, 2010, and shipped to distributors and retail stores east of the Rocky Mountains.
