Watched the movie "Gifted Hands". The sceen really impacted me about the mom saying the kids had to go to the library check out read and do a report on two books each week. This increased my reading it was very motivating for me. Also helped me to figure out my e-reader.

I'm still in Inferno, by Dan Brown. Embarrassed b/c I spend too much time surfing the internet and playing with my phone.
I also started, but have not gotten far in Joyce Meyer's God's Not Mad at You.
AND, still haven't finished the P.L. Travers biography.
If I were a student in my class, I'd be really aggravated with me, and I'd wonder why my parents didn't take my phone away from me. * sigh *

I read every day for at least an hour, usually longer. That's part of my retirement

A book Rose Harbor In Bloom by Debbie Macomber that has been on my to get list for a while.
I have been to 2-3 stores and did no find it,
so I finally bought it on my e-reader yesterday.

I'm reading a book by a minister on Job in the Bible (finished and returned to DD) and the best seller called "The Four Agreements."

I also have Joel Osteen's book to finish called "Break Out!". It's taking me forever because I read and write short stories for work. I get "side-tracked".

I also have "Chickens in the Road," and I believe the author is Suzanne McMinn.

I got out several small religious books and put them on one side of an eating bar shelf with a polished cut rock bookend, to read at random in my spare time. (Ha! Spare time?")

One of the books I'm currently reading is named: "Simple Words of Wisdom - 52 Virtues for Every Woman," by Penelope J. Stokes. It's very good. Each chapter are 2-facing pages, with colorful borders, decorations in the corners, with quotes and Bible Verses. It's very artistic and quite well-done. I love it so much, this is my second re-read. I used to carry it in my purse, to read in the car, in parking lots, or in waiting rooms. So it's a re-read, but it's been ages, so I'm experiencing it almost as though it's brand new to me again.

I forgot to let y'all know when I finished Inferno. It was very good. It will make a good movie. Just when you think you've got it all figured out and you know who the bad guy(s)/girl(s) are -- something new is revealed and you're back at square one.

Now I'm reading Sycamore Road by John Grisham, and it is VERY good, too!

Also, last night I started re-reading Be Anxious for Nothing by Joyce Meyer. Figured in light of my mood re: dmom, I could use some encouragement.
