I have a short stack of books, in my office, off to the right-side of my desk. They are close to my heart, are good re-reads:
1- "Selected Poems & Letters of Emily Dickinson," Edited by Robert N.Linscott.
2- "Home is Where the Heart Is," illustrated by Mary Englebriet.
3- "Poetry: A Modern Guide to its Understanding and Enjoyment", by Elizabeth Dove.
4- "Poemcrazy - Freeing Your Life with Words," by Wooldridge.
5- "Home for the Holidays," by Brownlow.
6- "Novel & Short Story Writer's Market 2015," book.
7- "The Treasury of American Poetry", by Nancy Sullivan, Editor.
I adore poems, I'm crazy for poems, it's how I started writing, years and years ago, and my first published pieces were poems, then I moved onto little non-fiction stories and many years later, onto fiction stories. I used to have a hope chest full of 400 handwritten poems, too. I wrote for my own pleasure.
