We've always just called it stuffing...even when we don't cook it in the turkey. Mum has had this bug in her ear about not cooking the stuffing in the turkey for the past few years...something to do with bacteria or I'm not sure what *sigh*..it tastes better when it's cooked inside the bird!! Just as an aside.....we always do a sage and onion stuffing...can't imagine having any other kind!

STUFFING, just like Sunny said, because DMom called it that and we STUFF the bird (or chops). The excess goes in a casserole. Bread, onion, celery, seasoning, butter. Yumm
