Hi from Down Under

Postby Kasalia » Tue May 22, 2018 11:11 pm

Well once more I am back in the box, seems to be my go to system, when all else fails. My poor book from the 80's is very tattered, but it is inspiring. I have never known anyone else to have used the SHE system, which is why I have joined.

Married 45 years, raised 5 children, live in suburbia subtropical Coffs Harbour halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Retired 15 years and I think I was more organized when working full time and being a mother.

We have always been self sufficient in veg, and preserves and now I run a community garden amongst other things, life has never been busier, I blame the hobbies (excuse 24 - 29)

Need to work on new routines, check my cards which I found yesterday, all neatly filed in zones, hmmm when did I do that last, and get on with it. See you round.

We'll see you around, Kasalia! Welcome!

We use a lot of different systems here, mostly an outgrowth of the SHE system. We're a supportive and friendly community, you'll find us a lot in PWYC, which has a daily thread of our adventures.
Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better [wo]man. Ben Franklin

Kasalia - I'm so glad you found us. Jump right in and join our daily efforts.

I am 62 years old. After working for 35 years, I retired 7 years ago. We are celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary this year. We raised our 2 children and then they gave us 6 GRANDchildren. We adopted one of those 6 grandchildren (long story) and have been raising him for the past 9 years. Life is full and blessed.

I LOVE to garden. I look forward to hearing more about your gardening adventures.

Welcome, Kasalia! Nice to now have two of you in Australia. I've been married longer than dirt has been around. Right now I'm getting ready to head north (tomorrow) to join my dh who went there the end of March. DD will be going "with" me -in her own car- and will join her dh who has been up there working since mid-March. We're both anxious to get on the road (except for all the rain that's forecast). I too had 5 children, 6 grandchildren and 5 step dgks as well as 6 step grandchildren. All our grands and steps are up north -all the more reason for me to get up there. Post away, we're glad to have you.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!
