There is an ill wind blowing around here -- the atmosphere INSIDE the house, if you get my drift. DH is accusing me of "stirring the pot" re: a certain issue... I am accusing HIM of over-reacting. Actually, no one is accusing anyone of anything right now. We are not speaking at the moment.
My favorite sports car has to be the 1979 Camaro. White w/a red interior. (Our high school colors, but yes, back then I sorta pulled for the Other Team in college, too.) I think I told y'all -- I graduated high school in 1979, but I finally had my chance at it when ddad bought my cousin's for me and restored it for my 35th birthday, I think. It was a Z28, white w/a red interior... my dream car. I loved it, but it had been modified for drag racing, and it was waaay... waaay... WAAAY too much car for me. Talk about turbo charged... whew... It would fly. But it was sooo loud, you could probably hear it ten miles away when I cranked it up. Plus, with that much age on it, it needed an owner who was MUCH more mechanically inclined than dh or me. By that time, I was DEFINITELY spoiled by the smooth, quiet ride provided by my "old lady car" -- our Mercury Grand Marquis. We sold the Camaro and used the money to buy "half" of dfil's truck for ds when he started driving. DS -- as y'all can well imagine -- was definitely a "pick-up man," NOT a drag racing man.
I still love the looks of a Camaro, but I'd never really want to own one again. Now I'm spoiled by the SUV.
Y'all please excuse me. I'm going to go do my school work and ignore dh some more.
