Well, I had decided on a title for today (Spring Has Sprung) but then got sidetracked. Hmmm....imagine that! So, glad you got us started, Harriet.
It's too hot to put things in the car for very long too.
Ask me how I know this (especially down here in FL, Harmony). I had a W mart gas card that had spent a good deal of time in my car -after all that's the only place I used it, right? When I finally did go to use it, it had warped and could not be read. Lesson learned, the hard (and expensive) way.
DD has gone to Ikea to buy some items to build her craft table for their art room. Dh and I were going to go. I had decided through the night that, contrary to my dh's belief, I was turning down a trip to Ikea. Decided I needed to pace myself even more. DD is on spring break this week so has plenty of things to get done this week. I already know we have to go to Sebring on Thursday to pick up the truck that dh is driving up north. Saturday we have a service for one of our congregation who passed away Sunday afternoon (our organist's dh -he wasn't in church Sunday but she was and evidently found him quite ill when she went home). Couldn't help but think of Kathryn when I was turning down a chance to go to lunch at Ikea. We also have to make a trip to Sam's one morning. And I need to get things together for dh's trip north. Also am going to try making an appointment with a cardiologist at some point today. I have yet to find one down here following my hospital stay in January. Have one all set up once I'm back north.
Dd's 'roofer' was just here. He put a new roof on last year in May. He ran everything through the county office. However, they just discovered that it was never closed out there with an inspection. So now the inspector is coming tomorrow. As well, we have the septic tank guy coming. He pumped both their septic tanks out in January. The one on our end filled up again pretty rapidly. There's evidently either a problem at the junction box (which is our divine hope!!) or with the leach field. If it's at the junction box it will be a much cheaper fix. If the leach field it will mean several $1,000. Praying.
Dh has gone to order a new back foldable seat for our golf cart (up home). He put a new square box on it a year or so ago and it has become "T's 'work' cart" and we also don't have space for anyone else to ride with us -especially dBailey.
It will be shipped up to our campground and dh will be able to work on it in his 'spare' time. So it should be done by the time I get there in June.
