On Target Tuesday

Okay, okay (in the words of dgs) -- I got back on target--
It took till after 11:00 pm, but I finally s/s the kitchen and bathrooms and put away a load of laundry.
Read the paper.

Dh did not go vote and did not go to the nursing home singing.
I went out to eat w/ds & family afterwards, and then they came by to visit with dh a bit before they went home.

A funny: dgs is tired of being a kid, he's ready to be a grownup, move in with nana and Granddaddy, and be a firefighter and work at Firehouse Subs.
(He was in trouble for getting in trouble at school -- just breaking line, interrupting teacher, etc).
I asked him why he was tired of being a kid.
He said:
"Because I've been one sooo long!"
