Good morning, villagers ~
Thanks for opening the thread, Twins'Mom.
My 5x5:
* laundry AT HOME!
* catch up dishes
* inventory pantry & freezer
* shop for groceries
* shop for shoes
I realized that my walking shoes are at least 3 years old and that would be a big reason why my feet and knees hurt so much after my shifts at the library. My job involves 6-8 hours either standing behind the service counter or walking around putting things away, with one 5-minute restroom break and (if we aren't busy) a 15- to 20-minute snack break. Other than those 2 short breaks, I don't sit down at all for the entire shift.
I bought both pair of walking shoes at the same time. I rotate between the walking shoes and 2 pair of loafers so I never wear the same shoes 2 days in a row. Nevertheless, after 3 years the white Easy Spirits are showing their age and I don't feel like they're providing enough arch support and bounce in the heels.
I'll only have time to go to 1 shoe store today. I've had good luck finding shoes there in the past, but I don't remember if I've gone there during back-to-school season before.
