(((Harmony)))) What a horrible customer! It makes me angry that anyone would treat ya'll like that.

Today has progressed smoothly.
** DGD6 arrival, fed breakfast, snuggled and took to school
** Painter friend arrived and immediately got started. I am very thankful how the kitchen ceiling looks now. ****PHEW***** The repairs could have been so much more extensive. He is painting DS9 bedroom now. WOW. That room has lots of sunlight coming in and those paint colors are BRIGHT and colorful on his walls.
** I went to public school and ate lunch with DGD6. DS9 ate lunch & played at recess with his friends then met with Speech Pathologist.
** Homeschool Day #71 is progressing well. DS9 is working on science lessons now.

I HAVE BEEN DOING A LITTLE EACH DAY AND IT LOOKS NICE

Blessedw2 - POTB! BWTG!

Homeschool is done and I have 30 minutes before picking up DGD6. I am limited on what I can work on because needing to be available to painter for question/answers (he is kinda needy fella). The furniture from the 2 bedrooms is in the living room. The kitchen has drop clothes all over the countertops, appliances, and floor. I am ready for the painting to be done so I can get everything put back into its place. Not having access to the kitchen is showing me how much time I spend in there doing things. It has only been a few hours but I believe I'm having withdraws. I want my kitchen back!

totally understand d lady! hoping he does a wonderful painting job fast!

mini:
powder room
swiped counters and toilet
quick vacuum
quick swiffer dust
quick swiffer rinse
empty garbage can

front hall vacuumed surface-ly
swiffer duster it and swiffer rinsed
swiffer rinse wood stairs

now to manage clutter in those two areas ...powder room done

what's happening - yelling out my excuse number - ;)
excuse # 2: I hate (yes I used the word hate instead of dislike when I am like this) housework because it's boring (because my brain is trying to get me to stop) and #9 stomping my foot bc I don't wanna
excuse 5: my brat side told me to stop
excuse #8: I am out of shape

Scanned 6 years of credit card statements (one account only.) So that long overdue task is now started. The idea is to give myself some room in the filing cabinet. I don't mind having up to 5 years in the file (I do have to look things up from time to time), but 10+ is a bit excessive. The idea is to leave just 2 years in the file and then start revisiting this project in January or February each year, only having to scan a year at a time.

Dh is in Montreal, having cleared immigration. I leave in about 20 minutes to wait in the cell phone lot.

Was trying to backup the scan I just did to our central backup device but I can't sign in for some reason.

Computer service guy emailed to say there's a delay getting parts. No delivery date given for the mother board so it looks like I have to live in this in-between state for a while longer. I can't work at full capacity because I can't connect a second screen and my laptop's screen is smaller than a piece of paper so it is very hard to do work that requires scanning a whole page/screen at a time.

Dh got home from work early. When he walked into the kitchen, he just said "Wow!" It wasn't because he was angry or upset, but because he could see the island. He likes lots of clear counter space.

I took a steak out for supper because we have had a lot of chicken and turkey this week. Even with the spaghetti and "plain sauce" last night, we had turkey in the spaghetti. Our twist on "chicken caciatore" (I have no idea how to spell that!)
