I am at the hair place getting my hair dyed and cut. I needed a hair cut! I am afraid I will fall asleep :D

d mom - you gotta love her... but also not listen lol when she is in the cleaning zone. She, dh and I worked on the pantry and it is done. I also worked with dh on recycling and did 3 cabinets. Tossed much as I still had 2016 things and some out of date 2017 stuff. dh took 7 bags from the whole kitchen - recycling too. I got rid of all the baking stuff as I need to replenish with new flour etc. Getting rid of extra anything. Pantry is done. Herbs have been gone through and I have to replace them during the year monthly.

my kitchen looks surface dirty - I need to go back to the house and clean the kitchen

I hit the ground running! (When I finally actually hit the ground! I'm DEFINITELY not a morning person, AustinGranny!)
S2S...
changed gyno appt...
went for haircut...
visited w/bug lady while she sprayed our house...
ate some pizza (leftover from ds's bday last week).

Now I've had a carb heavy lunch & I need a nap, too, Twins! LOL!
(((HUGS))) for you and dd. I thought checks were good for at least 6 months also.

Had to change gyno appt b/c that is the day dgd will go for her MRI. Since Big City hospital is on the way to College Town, we are going to go with them, wait while she has her MRI, and then we will all go on to College Town. DH had been hoping to spend two nights anyway (b/c we are going to basketball game on Fri) and dgs is out of school Friday anyway, so ds said it wouldn't hurt to let him miss Thursday.

We were planning to go to the fair with ds/ddil/dgrands tonight, but ds said ddil may stay home w/dgd. He thinks all the pulling and pushing and prodding yesterday has her a little sore/stiff and she may not need to go out tonight. It's kinda chilly here now after the sun goes down. We will go ahead and take dgs, and probably ds.

I did get the vacuuming done yesterday so I am feeling accomplished. There's plenty other stuff to do, but I'm giving myself a stress-reward nap. With all I have going on, I figure I need it. Plus, I'll just keep eating if I stay awake!

(((LadyM & ds9))) I would think the speech therapist has seen this sort of thing before. I'd trust her (his?) judgement.

3 times it came up $8.50 out of balance and I just couldn't figure it out. Finally just took $8.50 off a category.

BTDT, Harmony! Maybe it'll clear up next month!

(((Kathryn))) -- for the new apt concerns

(((Dee))) I saw your other post in J&C. (((BIG HUGS))) And for the tooth too! Boy... when it rains, it pours.
I've been meaning to ask -- does the whole campground shut down for the winter -- everyone has to leave? That may be a stupid question, but I didn't know if some people had RVs they could stay in all year or not.

"you should throw everything out"
lol poor d mom

LOL, blessed!

I'm wondering about Rudolph day too, Elizabeth. Is it the 25th of each month? Or was it yesterday b/c it's 2 months till Christmas?
At any rate, I can not think about Christmas till after pay day. No -- dh said don't think about it until after the Nov credit card comes.

And then * EEEEK * he said the current predictions for football season have us going to Orlando for a Bowl game. That will be QUITE an expense, b/c we have promised to take the grands to see the mouse the next time football takes us in that direction. Oh my. Lots of football to play before then, though... and lots of chances to lose and mess up that prediction. At this point in the season, it really means nothing.

Waving to ALL!!! Going to take a nap...

Of the 12 potential SQL procedures to write, I have assessed which ones are actually needed (9). All but two have been written and tested over the past few days. I just finished one and am taking a break. I found out we have showers in our building. Haven't needed them yet, but good to know. If I ever get snowed in here, there is a kitchen and showers. I doubt the heater runs at night, but my space heater can. Of course, there is a hotel in walking distance. I've always kept a toothbrush and toothpaste in my offices.

Lucylee: should you be making cancellable reservations so you can get something at a reasonable rate? (Our hotel room, which I booked 9 months early for the eclipse was about 50% of the price they were charging for the last room they had and that was only good for two nights before the eclipse, not the night before - they were fully booked then.)

Going for a nap was a bad idea. I woke up when my alarm when off but I didn't get up.

Dinner is heating now. I'm back into rushed mode. At least all the cleaning is done. Emailing and printing can be done later into the evening. Vacuuming can't be. Plus the apartment looks fairly good which takes some pressure off.

Not 'stupid' at all. The campground season runs from May 1- October 31 every year. Actually dh is taking down the last of our laundry and throwing it in the washer tomorrow morning. Then he'll be turning that water off. RVs really wouldn't be warm enough to stay in year round. Nor is the campground plowed so anyone staying (and they can't) would end up probably snow bound. All the water to the campground will be turned off Sunday. Anyone staying those last couple of days has to put water in their holding tanks. Dh will probably do ours tomorrow and then we'll have a few gallons of water to flush with. He emptied the tanks today and they'll be pumped on Monday but he's measured and pretty well knows what ours will be. In 2015 we stayed until Thanksgiving because I had that retina surgery and we couldn't leave. However it was a very mild year. Monday dh and some helpers will be 'blowing' out all the water lines. Every faucet in the park has to be open for this. Used to take them 2 days but now they have it down to a science and it usually takes the better part of a day.

I've just felt 'out of sorts' all afternoon/evening. Hoping a decent night's sleep might take care of it. And I certainly didn't get done a whole lot of my running list. Tomorrow will be another tough day time wise. Got to pharmacy for my antibiotic, then to rehab, then to the dentist. Praying that all turns out okay. Then DS-R texted tonight to say they can't meet us at the Smorgasbord Saturday but wants us to meet them at the Texas barbeque in their town at 6. So tomorrow will have very little time here.

Progress made on the RA stuff and more emails sent for the refugee stuff.

My phone is updating the OS. Second time this week.

My computer needs an update as well so will start that now.

I'm out of here at 7:45 tomorrow morning, dgs to playgroup which runs until at least 11, then home, wash hair, cardiac appointment at 3:45, dinner out right after then dh has to be at the church for 6:30.

The concert starts whenever (doors open at 7.) We'll be home around 11, I'm guessing. Out by 10 the next morning for a luncheon fundraiser for TEMBO.

Off to bed once I get the computer updating.
