SATURDAY SITUATIONS

What's your situation today? Mine is trying to get things done so dh and I can go to our church's Thanksgiving dinner at 1.

We were going to try to get the back screened porch completely cleaned and pressure washed. DD had a good start on it before they just left for Tampa (details in J&C). DD has new patio furniture still sitting in the garage for there. She ordered an area in/out rug for there this morning online, as well as a new tablecloth for our table in 'our' office. Bought pillowcases to go over the backs of the chairs in here and bought ribbon to tie around them. Wanted them covered because T -way back when scratched her name in the top front of one of the chair backs. All too obvious and nothing has been able to remove it. Guess she called dsonil's dd a while back and began to bad mouth them. GD cut the conversation off and told T she wasn't going to listen to her.

Guess I got 'off track' there.

Today is DGS's 13th birthday. Will try to face time him later, but it looks like they're at a Lacrosse tournament in MA. Saw a pic on FB of all the boys in a mammoth pool.

Dh has gone to L owe's for some things he needs to finish up a couple of projects.

Hi!

I did housework for most of the day yesterday. Vacuuming, tub and toilet cleaning, cleared most of the island other than current flyers, all the dishes, litter box, garbage and recycling cleared out. Just kept going until dh got home at 5 and took us out for supper.

Dh's friend was here before 9. Other than one place I noticed in the living room, I thought the house was nicely cleaned.

brrr I have to get used to it

Hi d Cathy! great job!

... way behind the times.

(smile) Hasn't yet caught up with 2,000 years ago, and rather shaky about times before that.

I need to leave to go get dd19.

Dstepson has been by. He is meeting with a fellow who will replace the fascia board at my parents' house.

Dee, just today I was wondering what you knew about T these days. I guess I thought of it while reading J&C. Isn't it funny how that happens, when you think of something or someone and they just pop up!

I have a situation in my house. Wow.

I deep cleaned the master bath which DH uses. He's the messiest person I know. If he'd keep his junque picked up it would be easier to clean. I cleaned and organized the first aide bin, something very important in this house. He is always getting scraped or cut open, especially with this present job. I wiped out vanity drawers and reorganized everything in there and the closet and medicine chest. Found all my eye drops I'd been missing.

Whew. What a job. This kind of down-on-my-knees job is getting harder and harder and harder for me.

All the throw rugs etc. are in the washer. We use the french door out of that bathroom to go out to the back yard or porch so in and out all the time, we drag in a lot of dirt. Well, that's done. 1 spot in the house.

I think I'll rest for a bit.

Apartment is done for today. Just micromanaging things now and need to walk away and let R arrange things as she wants.

Holding my breath that the other group won't mess with it when they drop by to see things.

Dd was at an estate sale and left my number for any leftovers. So I may have a run out there on Monday.

Harmony asked me:
can you send your neighbor here to do my 2 area rugs? My shampooer doesn't work right any more.

Ummm! I would but Texas to Florida is a bit far to drive.

My morning list got done just before noon. Must be coffee and reading or nap time.
