Good morning everyone. After yesterday's crazy busy day, work looks positively relaxing, even though I have a meeting in 30 minutes. These people are pleased with my work, so it is not as stressful as it could be. I did get the library returns done and the gasoline, but the pet food place was closed. My budget is SO looking forward to non-prescription cat food! I have < $100 for the next two weeks. Oh gee fun. Next month is an off month in the life insurance pay cycle, so I will put that toward the credit card (which is a 3 digit balance). It will not be enough to completely pay it off, but there will be < $150 left. I only carry a balance when I have to purchase two flights to Mobile and I pay it off quickly. The credit card company never gets more than $10 interest from me a year and it is worth it to be able to go.

I did not do dance practice, so that is top priority now. However, I hurt my back badly this morning coming to a sudden stop. Badly enough that tonight I will probably take a pain pill left over from my foot surgery. I think I left my dance top at home, but I remembered the camera so I will have a local video to practice with. (The teacher puts the videos on YouTube, but that chews up my data).

Briggs is doing well in his foster to adopt situation. Of course, when I left he was hiding under the bed. However, late last night, he came out to use the catbox and slept the rest of the night with the potential adopter. I was expecting two or three days of invisible cat. The formerly stray kitten is having his surgery today, no complications expected on a simple neuter.

Can't believe I am hurting so bad.

Good morning!

I always have to have a long nap Sunday afternoons. I think it's all the social. Extremely hard in the summer when DH wants to go to the beach in the afternoon. Between the church and sitting in the sun I'm really done in. Yesterday was no exception.

Elizabeth, so sorry about Tiki. Always hard to go through that. Oh, sorry about your back.

I've had a good day so far. Brought in the garbage/recycle. They're doing it earlier than usual these days. Most of the dailies are done. I've added a couple to them but they're less than 5 minutes.

Big cleanup on my desk and mail out to the box. Emails sent, DPC made, some county stuff checked on.

One LOL ready to hang up. I guess I'll do that next.

Well, I got "caught" wrapping but at least the box was hidden by paper so didn't absolutely give contents away. (air fryer) I imagine he suspects what it is. I called out to him and asked him to wait a minute but he was totally in work mode and asked "why?" as he just kept on walking. It's bright red, so that will be a surprise. I almost wanted to rethink that but if it's festive, hey, my countertop can look festive.

In fact, it is allowed to look almost any way as long as it doesn't look cluttered. Unfortunately, it's a very disobedient countertop.

Elizabeth, I neglected to say how sorry I was to hear your household went through this loss. Surprising but encouraging to hear Briggs slept near his new potential person.

Finished getting the soup going -note to self: prepare everything the night before. :?

Just finished an online chat with F rontier to suspend our internet service. Been forgetting to do that for nearly 2 weeks now. Now to call for an appointment to get our toe nails done. DD got a number for us.

Have to go fold the load of laundry from last night. Then maybe I'll start working on getting dsonil's clothes folded -and there is a LOT of them!

Not good to me.

The others trashed the kitchen.

I spent hours sorting through donations and washing and putting them away. Duplicates are left at the church for the next family.

They came in. Took away the storage space. Left no room for the microwave cart. Put a garbage can in the only under counter cupboard. And then dumped boxes of stuff all over the table they put in the kitchen. Almost ever item is a duplicate of what is already in there.

I phoned the lady who donated the microwave cart and said we could not take it.

I am sobbing and screaming in frustration. It will be 4 hours work to fix this.

When dh came in for lunch I was in the middle of cleaning the stovetop. He apologized and said he was very sorry for not cleaning the kitchen yesterday. I didn't plan it that way, but I am happy to hear him say these things.

All I know about supper is that we aren't having pasta.

Clean Friend texted to make sure I was ok because I wasn't at knitting.

Good Monday morning/afternoon.

(((((Kathryn)))))
So sorry you have to deal with the frustration.

Last week I did get all my weekly list DONE. That's 2 weeks in a row. Now my goal is to get it done before Sunday.

Made DPC to Fed BCBS for clarification on whether I have a deductible and if it makes any difference whether I have surgery before the end of the year or after. NO, I don't and NO it doesn't. She also double checked to make sure both docs are in network and read me a long list of what they cover after Medicare pays first. So I am a Happy Camper. And Fed Blue are the nicest people in the world so I was happy to take their survey and tell them so.
