I resemble this remark with my knee, Booksaver, so know of what you speak. Although today it is better. My knee is just a bit better every day so I'm hopeful complete healing (from what I know not) is on it's way.My back is following a pattern that first thing in the morning it's so bad that I worry about whether or not I can get out of bed and walk to the bathroom -- but by afternoon it is better enough to function as long as I move slowly.
