Frustration is an option this morning. Our ISP is experiencing random failure. On/OFF/on/OFF every 5 minutes or so. It has been reported and I'm not the only one experiencing this. I have ordered new equipment to replace our router switching our home network to a mesh wifi system. The new network equipment should arrive in a couple days and then I'll reconfigure our entire network using a stronger security system and a different password. In the meantime....I JUST WANT TO PRINT A DOCUMENT FOR HOMESCHOOL LESSONS TODAY AND I CAN'T GET THE PRINTER TO CONNECT TO THE NETWORK. After doing a bit of troubleshooting I've discovered the printer can only connect to the 2.4g network and it isn't working. While waiting for the new network equipment to arrive, I've connected our other (newer) devices to the 5g network because it is working.
Let it go......
Let it go......
Frustration is not needed. It is an option. A choice.
Move on to the next thing.

Frustration.....right! An option. I found myself very frustrated about 3:30am!! I heard this blast and then several seconds later a second blast. Of course it startled me awake & then I could hear voices. And I was  "What? what, what's going on!?!?" Dh speaks up and says it's just my phone making noises. Why he was looking at it at 3:30 in the morning is beyond me. I was not happy -especially since for once I was sleeping and had slept till then. Of course after that it was another couple of hours before I drifted off again.

Just waiting for my 30 minutes to pass so I can take the rest of my meds and have my breakfast.

I think that dsonil's Mom is going home today with Hospice. DD & he worked diligently yesterday between visits to her in the hospital, trying to make room for her and hospice. His niece is supposed to fly in to Tampa tonight and I'm sure it will be a beeline so they can see her. Dr. yesterday told them it could be 20 days or it could be 20 minutes they just don't know. Meantime they're scrambling to get those end of life things taken care of: funeral home, bank, lawyer, etc.

((((Dee and extended family))))

Today big rocks -
** DGD6 care before/after school
** DS9 homeschool
** Take DMom to doctor appoint with new heart specialist
** Check on DBro. If his blood work comes back okay, then he will have chemo treatment #5 today. If so I'll take him something cold to hold in his mouth (helps with not having mouth sores from chemo).
** Date Night with DH

It is 7 degrees (F) this morning. -1 wind chill. Brrrr..........

What a nice sister, LadyM. Know dsonil is trying to take things to his dsis that she'd like on chemo day (which was yesterday). She's been craving K Fried Chicken & they were going to take it yesterday until they realized she was getting chemo. Think everyone will be pleased to have his dniece and family back today. So, hoping all goes well with their travel plans.

Sorry your day started out with frustration! hope printer/router etc. start behaving itself!

d dee so sorry you woke up at 3:30 am to the noise of your phone - so hard to fall back to sleep again from that!

is he using the mouth wash, I think biotene, to keep his mouth from drying out. It helped dh through chemo

noise of your phone
Oh no, Blessed! It was dh's phone -he was looking at it in the middle of the night and hadn't silenced it. Grrrr....... Bad mood carried over a little to this morning.

But now I've accomplished a lot. Spruced up the living room, put away yesterday's clean dishes, washed dishes, did all the counters, cleaned the counter in our bathroom, straightened the bottom of the bathroom closet, removed everything from the floor in there, swept and mopped. Now I just need to put things back. And I'm ready for a rest.

I would love to ask - how many of your dh's don't see what's at their feet. Dh literally walks on the dogs all the time or hits something with his feet all the time - I had put a box by the phone to work on in a bit (not small) and he tripped over it. He has been like this forever. ;)

dh and will chat a bit while he eats breakfast (he is starting late)

usually tuesday is my bathrooms day (so hoping to get to that)
laundry today: darks
french
worst things job - not first but the film in the upstairs closet
make soup this morning
make butternut squash thing this afternoon at dinner time.

dh will snowplow the front again as the snow finally stopped early this morning - this morning at 8 am the trip from O Hare to downtown was said to be 1 hour and 40 minutes  Glad dd older had a doctor appointment this morning so she wasn't stuck in that mess.

goal today: have faith in my ability! Fake it till you make it is the theme for me today :D

have a wonderful day all!!!
it is always a joy to be here with you!
