The only blessing about our early morning starts on the tour will be getting some things done before the heat of the day.

I am not looking forward to either them or the heat! Dh is though!

Flight delayed due to mechanical issues.

Back in the lounge, but ready to jump when required. In the meantime, I'm recharging my tablet and phone. I used up a lot of my battery power on the phone running a hotspot while I was trying to rebook my flights online. That charge would have been $1002 because it was 2 flights but the direct flight was half that so we were really thrilled even though it was a tense 15 minutes on hold. Air New Zealand staff were wonderful, they assured us there was space but they also couldn't do a thing to grab the space because the flight was open for check-in; we had to phone reservations and sit on hold.

I'll go get something else to drink now. I'm still not done shaking from the mix-up today.

I didn’t think about y’all being right there on it, Kathryn and Lynlee!

See, apparently it’s like Pluto, the planet/nonplanet.
From 1953, I believe, until 2002, the Southern Ocean was not a thing... geography majors, like dh, were taught that the Atlantic and Pacific came together at Antarctica. Now, dgs has been trying to find it on our 1970s era globe and arguing with dh about its existence.
Finally I looked it up and dh “apologized” to dgs tonight. LOL!

We’ve been learning a lot while dh can’t sleep...
Y’all wanna know who sang “Rockin Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu”?

Thank you, lucylee. My uncertainty about it had me thinking along those (time) lines but you and dh helped me get it straight in my mind. Speaking of bodies of water, rivers are nice, don't you think?

HRH made snow cream.

I've been doing more office area organizing. Files for church from 2017 reorganized and files for 2018 now have a better, permanent place. Some labeling done. Our papers/envelopes shelves investigated and very suspiciously seem to have too little room.

Having a baked potato for late supper.
