I did that round. Thanks Lilac, I do recognize that but OTOH I feel like I have to so much to do. And I was feeling particularly productive before last Monday and working on genealogy portfolio and planning and all sorts of things. :? And I feel like I've hit the wall.

-make the bed
-s2s
-walk the dog
-call about a dumpster at mother's house
-call about an appt with mother at arthritis specialist

I also called about mother's homeowners insurance for the house - still in force and they are checking on what needs to be done since house unoccupied.

Good morning everyone! I am dragging due to @#$%!!! daylight savings time. I want to stay on the summer time plan forever. Sunday, I had the double whammy of DD16 volunteering for youth led service and having to be there at 8 instead of 930 + DST. Some stuff that got done over the weekend: LR pick up and floor clean, library returns, bill pay, checkbook balance, groceries, gasoline, minutes for animal org, cooking for next two weeks, all laundry put away, and (cue that Hallelujah Chorus here) clipped Briggs' claws! There is still much to do on LR pickup and some decluttering inside the desk and vanity. My Mardi Gras Barbie is on display on my filing cabinet. I did not get the hardware store done or the paperwork.

This is another final week for DD, but that means she will have Wednesday and Thursday off. She requested Thursday be with me, because her schedule has resulted in some missed mom time. And the time she had was spent studying. I have the vacation time and it has been approved. She came by this morning to find her lost cell phone, but we were unsuccessful. The first dark day of DST and she has to wait at the bus stop with no phone. I think it is at her dad's house.

There is less war between the two remaining cats, but it is not necessarily a good thing. The trainer at the animal org annual meeting recommended I put an adoption clinic style crate in my house to get Briggs used to it. It is in the kitchen and he is spending a lot of time on top of the cabinets to avoid it. Lara is happy because that frees my bed for her.

Part of DD's homework included getting a quote. She chose one from Hedy Lamarr, because I had told her that, despite being more known as an actress, in the digital signal processing world, she is considered an inventor. Her quote was "Any girl can be glamorous. All you have to do is stand still and look stupid." Later I found one that would have probably been better: "Films have a certain place in a certain time period. Technology is forever."

Today, I have already uploaded a report to production, gotten clarification on other pending modifications, and planned my next work.

Kathryn's W&R have my sympathies. Apartment/dorm life is so miserable. I wonder if the neighbor is on mental disability due to autism. His extreme sound sensitivity could be part of the spectrum. DD16 has that, but manages with headsets and earplugs. While she can attest to what a pain the tailbone it is to need them around the house, if he is going to live in an apartment, he'd better start adapting. Or move. W&R need to keep a record on him, with details of time, what was going on (e.g. walked into LR or sat on a sofa), and words he used or actions performed (wall banging), also his music blasting. Then he can have a visit from the police, especially if he ever seems threatening. Don't know if the landlord could be sued. Serve him right though.

went to Cal ico corners and ordered fabric and set up upholstery time.
it was a miracle - 30% off on labor yay
material was only 10% off but 10% is 10% as I needed 38 yards

I now need to list my spending - I put the fabric on my charge so I need to pay that off the next 2 months (so it will be tight) - but that's whats needed
I am not going to look at wallpaper until Thursday - so I moved it off my calendar

I also have to add to the day: fill out dr. patient forms for tomorrows orthopaedic appointment.

spent 1/2 hour looking at wallpaper so that's done for today.
ordred groceries

I haven't finished morning routine yet
no swish and swipe
no kitchen as the dw was empty already
But I did s2s before going out :D so I didn't want to scare anyone. Dh was out looking at a car dealership - he loves that - and a man was walking in the lot with a winter coat and pyjamas taking pictures of cars - His car was there. He was just looking. But one can't say that he didn't relax on sunday :D

hi d elizabeth - yes we are struggling with daylight savings time. I want it to stay at this time all year round
BWTG on all your work! Hope your dd finds her phone!
praying that the cats!

hi d twins You are allowed to hit a wall - those will come and go! It's okay! I know it's hard to accept but perfectly normal. Giver yourself some slack.
you are doing so many amazing things.

dh is focused/struggling on things regarding the changing of the fabric on the couch, and cleaning up the paint etc. in the front room. He focuses on the little things and spends money on things that aren't that important. He once changed all the doors in the house - when something else major should have been fixed - it's just who he is. I have to keep that positive inner voice going in my head that I am doing the right thing - he is not negative or mean at all; but his questioning makes me doubt what I am doing. I know it turns out in the end. positive thoughts and ignore that inner voice he, may not realize, gets into my head.

today he suggested chopping a piece of the chair rail so a piece of furniture goes straight back but I had to say if we sell the house that it would be an insure for the buyer - I would love to stay here forever but I know that is not possible.

dh is walking around not sure of which way he wants to go. - thinking he may be bored

Progressing. First report created for tomorrow's meeting. To know what to plan for next year, we need to know what this year's spending has been. My report is missing this month's expenses but as aside from that is complete. 11/12ths is enough for planning. And all the expenditures I plan for this month will be for next year (i.e. I'm planning on buying lots of flights now to reduce our business taxes.)

Next step is to sort paperwork into folders for simpler data entry. Basically, I'm carving up the elephant into a neat stack of bite-sized pieces.

Noon time check in.

I think I’m doing good with my people today. Dgs fed and bathed and dressed. Love the smell of Baby Magic. Washed his playpen floor while he was in his bouncer. Dbrother is improving! He walked for over 30 minutes before getting short of breath. DH hugged him saying he was proud of him. I wiped away the tears from my eyes.

On the home front, laundry is still going loads in dryer and washer. DW running and I did some hand washing too.

Paid two bills.

The kitchen floor is reminding me it needs to be swept.

Think I will get my shower in. Dgs appointment is at 4 o’clock for his shots. Want to make sure my hair is dry before going.

Back to the adventures!

Even the dog is confused by the time change. We've had had lunch. I finished sealing up some painted rocks. My hair is still drying.

I decided on what to have for dinner.

I know my d dogs are confused too d nancy! I asked dh to feed them at 6 instead of of 5 which is normal in the winter. he is so used to his routine :D too and really wants to continue feeding them at 5 not realizing that when winter comes again the dogs will be hungry at 4 - it always frustrates him the dogs don't realize time change in the winter :D

hi sadie yay and cheering you on!

hi d kagthryn yay on report!

time to focus
