I need to get my house cleaner because I'm having people over on Saturday night. It was only this evening that I realized because I picked Saturday night for this, dh and I will miss out on our pub date this week.

In other depressing news, there was a delivery here today. It was our custom pens. I was really pleased (retail therapy was lightening my mood), then I opened the box. The imprint is correct and it is the pen I was expecting but when I had to change the imprint (what we original wanted didn't look balanced on the barrel), the whole order reset. I was so concerned about getting the blue ink dh requested that I entered blue twice. Once in the ink colour and again for barrel colour. I had wanted assorted colours (so I could have purple because I like purple.) Now there's only blue pens. I double checked and the mistake is mine.

The depression has come back down upon me. Just like that, I'm back in tears.

Aww, Kathryn. Our dShelley would have been right there with you on the purple, no doubt! A nice boost for us Sunday were the flowers on the altar to celebrate dgdZoe's life. The color (not picked by us for sure) were all purple flowers. That was so uplifting.

we caught up on dishes.
We looked at bom to see if the rain was likely to be over anytime soon.
Possibly not.
I lent her a brolly to get to the car.
