With good news on the refugee money front, I headed off with dh for a walk, ending up at the bank. They couldn't solve that issue but hopefully have sent it to the right people to be solved. We'll see.

I came home and we had dinner. The walk wasn't long enough and then I noted on Facebook I was to pick something up from the local buy nothing group so headed out again. Wrote down the wrong address. So now I have to go back tomorrow. It is a two mile round trip walk so now I have more than enough steps for the day!

Aside from opening the software, I've done nothing on the taxes today. sigh.... I'm awfully tired now. I think I'll change into my jammies.

Elizabeth - I went looking for GF recipes and found this
https://simplygluten-free.com/blog/2011 ... -easy.html

I had thought tapioca flour would help. I used to use it in the mix to make 'flat bread' in the sandwich press.
I've never done the yeast adding bit for bread making.
My previous press worked better than the current one does for flat bread, until it went live with current zapping, bouncing it about my counter top. I never did use it again after that.

For flat bread I'd just mix in a small jug/mug : oil, water, mix of flour, tiny pinch of salt. If you want substance try the seed / higher protein flour from buckwheat or quinoa, or chick pea (besan), with rice flour and tapioca. Sorghum or millet flour are others I have used at times. There are lots of alternatives besides rice flour.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.
