It is 11 and I haven't yet started on my main item of the day. I did send an important email, though and have gone over the service for Sunday (the bulletin arrived) and know what I have to write for that. So the files with my partial work are in the right spot on my computer, waiting for me to reopen them when I'm ready to get to work on that.

I have Beethoven keeping my mind slightly distracted while I try and focus on the expenses now. I had a question for the accountant which she has answered so time to get to work.

Good morning! The solar person came last night and they want to move FAST! I don't make big decisions fast. It may be the absolute best thing to do, but I have to get my numbers in order first. And I have too much going on right now to do it. Because he had a computer and was sitting at the kitchen table, Briggs thought his lap was available. Of COURSE, there were allergies! But at least I can claim quite truthfully that Briggs is a friendly cat. Not to new foster Chelsea though. I also got info to the water heater installers.

Today, I have: sent info to the surgeon, bought the hot water heater, reordered meds, send more info to installer.

What needs to get done today: use work shower at lunch, call about celiac results, Girls' Night Out with DD16, minute/notes for the animal org (hopefully while DD is doing homework), deliver cat.

Counting down to Friday payday. "I get a check on Friday, but it's already spent." -- Huey Lewis & the News

lucylee: Autism may help DGS in t-ball. It's a predictable rules-based game with routines and procedures. At home, he can toss balls into a recycle bin for practice. If it ends up an intense interest, it will be hard to get him to stop! Since it's t-ball, he won't even need a pitcher.

TwinsMom is very smart not to loan money to family. Even with superb credit risks who would never dream of a late payment, it can still be awkward.

Tomatoes for LadyMaverick? Maybe on a platter. I need to emulate!

LadyM, I enjoyed reading your list. Several smiles. What is the purple bucket for? My bucket is blue. I'm using it to cart water outside after I wash dishes.

I looked up CBIT the pros and cons. I would definitely try it, if I had a need for someone in my family. But I would put no pressure on the person to believe they can always control this medical condition. Is this in any way similar to bio feedback? They do try to use that for seizures.

I've had a rough start to the day. Very s-l-o-w. Actually got up and went back to bed because I was cold. New quilt is just the perfect weight.

Spent an hour on phone with DGSon who is now home for the summer and taking a summer course at a local college and hopefully working. He sounds so happy. I'm glad he keeps in touch and includes me in his life. If only we lived closer.

I sent off 4-page fax to construction draw administrator. I hope I filled out the papers correctly, not sure about 2 of them. It is not the end of things for this draw, we have to wait for the inspector to come and give his figures and ok the draw amount.

Need to make dpc next. Dailies aren't finished. My goodness I'm behind today.

I did email declutter
 At first I read this as "did email deeclutter". Then I realized before I went to look in my email that you were 'cleaning out' emails.

I've been blocking my time in 45 minute segments too, Twins. I'm actually getting a lot of little things done. Have a 'meeting' tonight for church council up home. Have the office tidied for that face time. DD gave me an ipad that she had been given to keep (she got 2 a few years back from school). She asked their supervisor (when she moved from that school) if they wanted them back. Answer was they're too old. So....she cleaned one and gave it to me for Christmas. Had put some apps on it. NOW it seems to have come under the jurisdiction of her present school. No matter what I do, I can't get any apps on it. "Not allowed". I at least do have the weather bug, word, email and face time on it already. I may be forced to buy one for myself. I like it for in the recliner at times.

Need to get some scanning done this afternoon. I refuse to take all these medical papers back north with me in a couple of weeks when I can scan them to my computer. Can I say how nice it is to have a working computer again? Once we got dsonil's mom off as 'administrator' everything seems to be working just fine.

If only we lived closer.
Agree there, Harmony. Db and dsisil have sold their house here and are moving back north in a few weeks for that very reason. They've bought a house up there probably about 10-15 miles from where they used to live -and less than that from dniece and her kids dgks. They just couldn't stand being that far away at this point. Think they've been down here about 6 years and 2 houses later. They're going to stay with a friend in the Villages while db has some eye surgery for a cancer on his eyelid. Then they'll be heading out. I expect to stop and see them when I go to my retina specialist up there.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

I did a rock drop after sweeping the inside steps. Moved one planter, emptied another. A bit of a bigger job than I thought it would be glad it is done. I will use a smaller one next time easier to redo it and move. This is the only type of planting I will be doing this year.

I have 4.5 pages of expenses to prepare.

Page 1 I did last night. Page 2 is progressing. I'm up to Telephone which can be easy (70% are repeat entries for cell phones) and I've printed off the supporting docs for those receipts.) If I did that, I'd have 3.5 pages done. Am trying to force myself to do that.

Beethoven stopped. I need to restart it.

Oh, the comfort ... .. that that's LadyM's list, not mine. Delighted you are so aware of the needs on the schedule, LadyM.
Mine said "try to keep up with vivacious toddler" from 7:30 to 1:00. Interestingly, just about as tiring as having every half-hour marked with something. hmmm... .. Now I'm thinking it may be, "nap". (Time unspecified.)

Thanks, Kathryn. i admit - I did look it up and you are right. "vapors" can refer either to the swoon itself or the smelling salts' ammonia. How 'bout that - I always think of the lady with her hand over forehead.

About childcare elsewhere - it also means I come home to literally everything I still need to do. There's some disappointment in that return trip. So I like "Grandma's House" care.

This way, my dishes and laundry are in normal rotation. I ate normally what was in my own plan/fridge rather than contributing to any spoilage by letting time pass.

And when the Hippo falls from the top of the roller coaster, I'm a good "doctor" and know where the band-aids are. (he was all better and sleeping peacefully in no time)

I'm almost afraid to admit that every item on the schedule is linked to another list. I didn't post those. The schedule is just the tip of the iceburg. I am almost embarrassed that I need to have the details written down or I can't keep up with it. I can't juggle it all in my head.

The purple bucket is my cleaning bucket. I fill it every morning with lavender Fabuloso & vinegar mixture. Having a cleaning bucket and rag ready to use makes keeping up with little messes quick and easy. When I don't have my purple bucket ready to use and I see something that needs to be cleaned...the thought goes through my head...."I'll get to that soon". .......however, soon never arrives. It's my solution for situations like P&P talked about seeing a dirty light switch over and over. Their Mom came over and licked her thumb and rubbed the dirt off in about 3 seconds. The purple bucket makes 30-second cleaning jobs happen frequently.

This morning has progressed fairly smoothly. DS9 completed his effort of learning location & spelling of all 50 states so we paused and had a mini celebration.
1. Know what you want.
2. Go after it relentlessly.
