Off to my service now. I swam for 25 minutes this morning.

Forgot my hair straightener. Will have to buy one later since I am too frizzy for my own liking.

I have been on this tushy the whole morning - I did it again! it's been a rough morning for dd older with work calling and writing her at midnight. (why midnight she says it woke her up and it's all problems to solve). She has to tell them that her weekends are hers.

hard morning today (loss are hard). I love that drawing about grief - it never goes away but you learn how to live life around it.

okay: pulled my journal at 8 this morning and looked at it, then looked at it again, and again, and again and now I will get up!

Agree with your thoughts completely, Kathryn. DD has hated M Day for some time and we decided together to turn it around some. She even bought some spearmint leaves (and I even had just one) to remember my Mom. She loved those things.

As we came down almost to dd's driveway I saw a black blob on the ground across the road. We walked over -a mother had just given birth to a beautiful new calf. Stayed and watched her nose it to stand -which took this little guy a few tries. Sure we missed it's birth by mere seconds. Nice part of living in the 'somewhat' country.

Dh called me early to wish me a HMD. And he had given dd a card to give me.

Loved our morning service. Wish there was some way to get his sermons over the summer. He preaches from the word and his heart -all very good! Dh was going to try going to church this morning. I

Went to the local market I wanted pue they had it on sale, got a coupke other things. Did a rock drop. Got a gift bag for dil and it is ready to go with a card. Got noodles cooked. I drew a sketch. Painting rocks. Dil is in hosp.dd is in mtns hunting mushrooms. Left overs for lunch, went out yesterday.
