Wow, 4 days with an ailing grandmother. Poor kid!

I've done the personal upkeep tasks and tidied up the kitchen. That's it. We need to walk over for salad for my dinner. Dh's dinner, ribs, is in the crock pot.

I discovered earlier today that we'll be cut off due to the marathon on Sunday. We can get out with the car but walking means a mile detour at the height of the marathon. Duly noted. I updated the residents' facebook group and Buy Nothing (a lot of us walk to pick up stuff.) It seems several areas of my neighbourhood will not have a way out by car either. No-one had mentioned it on Reddit so I did a post there too.

We'll be out cheering on a friend at one point. She's to send me her approximate timing and outfit.

I think I have finished writing the business plan. I am going to leave it for a bit, and go back to review. Should be uploaded by midnight.

I'm debating about checking with dkids about coming for Shabbat dinner tonight with us. Of course, I also just realized that I don't have enough eggs to make challah either. So I guess I"m heading to the grocery for eggs instead of figuring out the next priority on my "Before the beach" list.

Yep, I’m glad LadyM is there this weekend for this kid.

My old computer is updating and taking forever. I told it “later” twice while I was using it, but it seems an unstoppable force. and it’s taking forever so I’m back to the iPad.

-s2s
-pack up a return to mail tomorrow
-water inside plants

It is 89* and muggy outside here. I sprayed the dog with the hose a bit it cooled her off when I was outside.

This weekend I told h I want to go to the rose garden he has an errand as well. I still need to do a store run but he brought home sandwiches. yea!

Hens are super happy debugging the 2 flower beds I de-weeded. So nice to have ac on now!

We had sandwiches for dinner.

After all I’ve done the last two days, I pretty much took my first steps straight to the recliner, and stopped there!
Nah — really, I s2s and ran errands — post office, drug store, oil change, paid gas bill, got steak sandwiches at local cattlemen’s association sale.
Lots of phone calls... dmom, dbil, ddil...

I’m just extra lazy today. Still havdng washed last night’s dishes!
Tomorrow is another day.

Walked to the store for salad for dinner and got back without getting caught in the heavy rain (I did a mini-jog in order to move faster for the last block.)

Dinner is done. I'm overwhelmed with tiredness. No progress to report yet which I find discouraging.

I think I can put clothes in the dryer now and maybe start another load. That will be a check list off the SHE list.

Home from tai chi.
Washing is happening here. Friday's storm was a surprise, and now a memory.
I'm going for a few small 15 min loads.
If I was good I'd also do towels etc in prep for next week. Most likely not today.
Just begin.

3 LOL on the line.
Odd clouds blowing over so I may need my wits about me to get them in.

Lunch time.

edit to add.

lunch is still to happen
re washing on the line :-
I did move anything that could bet wet if the sometimes passing dark clouds decide to drop raindrops.

next is lunch - for real this time, and whatever happens when I take a book to bed.
Just begin.
