DS9 has been gone for one hour and has called me 4 times.
The last time he called he said he was going to start texting me pictures of what they are doing. I discouraged that and told him to put the phone away and just enjoy the experience.
I am going to watch a Hallmark movie while organizing the school boxes. Since I don't have things organized for DGD7 everything quickly gets jumbled. I like it when things have a place but they don't yet.

Waving from sunny Queensland, for the moment at least.
Inside temp is 16c/64f so warming up nicely.
Happy anniversary to the Harmonies. May the coming year bring you any changes you need .
Breakfast is eaten. Well, working on the last spoonfuls.... done.
Washing to process.

16 is a nice temp to sleep in. Or do vigorous housework in. We were 31 today but it was about 15 when we woke up. That's outside, inside was a bit warmer.
It is now 9:30 and I'm not packed. In fact, there is no suitcase out into which I'll do packing.
This is not good. I have to be ready to go by 8 to pick up the car.
Dh is ahead of me but I'm only traveling for 2 days, he's traveling for 32 days.

d kathryn wow 32 days of travel for your dh! safe and fun travels for you d kathryn.
we went downtown - we did have a fun time going down - dropped dd younger off but just as we called the cab for church dd younger texted and they cancelled the races
I called it!
No wind. We were lucky we hadn't left yet. dd was disappointed as she wanted to be on the race committee boat to take pictures of the racers. Praying she can do this again. She met a really lovely woman who loves to support young boating women. (very cool).
We had a fun dinner downtown.
I sad no to someone nicely and I am glad I did because it would have caused me stress if I had to be out of the house all day tomorrow.
