Yes I overdid it. Apparently the 'off' feeling was that I was coming down with something. I have a high fever and chills. Along with my queasy tummy and a headache. Sigh.

I had the same thing 10 days ago and it lasted overnight. Hopefully the same again. I'm traveling on Friday.

Nancy, I'm using Dh's Bose ones. They are 20 years old and still going strong. I had to replace the ear cups but that was 20 dollars. I'd look for a used pair and replace the cups. These cost $400 back in the day but most people would just see something old and sell them cheap.

My dcousin posted about his great-uncle (other side of his family, but I know some of them), who was killed in France just after the war had ended, yet just before news of the armistice reached the troops, 100 years ago today.

There was so much to do at that time to recover from the war, that his family waited 3 years for the return of the body. I was so glad to see that in one of his letters he had been able to send the family a photo of himself, in uniform.

Today has kept a sense of urgency all day. I feel exhausted.

Hoping all those among us with sickness or pain get well soon.

I did as little as possible today I needed a selfcare day. The house shows it but I will work on it in the morning.

There was an article in our paper about the number of people killed on the last day of fighting in WWI. Hard to imagine.
My paternal great-grandfather fought in WWI, but he made it back and lived a long life, apparently. I never knew him however.
Tomorrow is another day.

So, I didn’t do very well with my big girl pants today — although I did
— go to church
— buy groceries and put them away (with dh)
— do laundry (with dh)
Napped this afternoon but do not feel feverish and achy like I did yesterday.

I will strive to get back on track tomorrow!
Tomorrow is another day.
