((((Kathryn)))) I hope you find some relief soon.

Homeschool is done for the day. DS10 did very well. He just left to ride his bike the 2 blocks to the church where he takes the piano lesson.

I am forcing myself to take it easy so I can get over this sore throat. My energy level is good so it is a struggle to not go full speed. I am alternating between reading a book and watching a couple on youtube. I stumbled into their channel on a fluke when looking at gardening methods. But now I am fascinated by their trek through Canada in a campervan.

I got a call from the library so went to get that book, got leaf bags at the store on my way home. Bagged up the rest of the leaves I had raked in a pile. I need to get the mail and get a roast going. Dog is tired of squirrel chasing and wants back in now.

Dd38's speech went well and she had many compliments afterward about having explained difficult material in an interesting way. The first two questions turned out to be universal enough that they satisfied the others' questions, as well, streamlining the Q/A portion. An event organizer invited her to lunch but when dd told her about me, she instead showed her a back door they weren't advertising, so that dd could make an unnoticed exit. It took her directly to where she happened to have parked. So she ended up having more time to spend with us.

During the few hours she was here, she got to see HRH, dd20 and dstepson. I took her out to my fav Mexican place and bought her lunch. Hopefully her trip home won't be too bad and she can get some rest. She was up super early this a.m.

Fever started back up by 4 so I have made a doctor's appointment for the morning.

I'm in bed now having done my nighttime routine. I'm shaking uncontrollably so bed is where that hurts the least.

The overnight temperature is 0*F so I have put the heat on in the room. Hopefully I won't overheat but I am keeping the door open so should be OK. If I was well, I would start the vaporizer but that is too much for me to do.

Today's accomplishments were taking a shower and watering the plants.
