Good morning, friends :)

Enjoying a quiet Christmas Eve at home. Usually Dh & I celebrate Christmas with family today but this year we made the trip to dbro & dsil house last weekend so we don't have to travel today. I still have pumpkin pies to make for dh this afternoon (I'll freeze one of them) & I want to mix up the seasonings for our pork tenderloin dinner tomorrow. The recipe calls for almost a dozen spices but it is so yummy.

Waving ~~~~ to everyone. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Oh my goodness bw2! Did you compose that instead working on your list?

I am not feeling 100%, but I don't know if it's that I had a run of IBS earlier after having my berry smoothie, so I'm half expecting to feel icky, or if I really am getting sick. And in my fretting I put my Fitbit through the washer and it's now residing in brown/wild rice (no white rice here.) I needed a shower earlier so I did that and then went out. Got a iTunes gift card for 14 year old, got mini cupcakes to temple and decided to pass on the goodwill, library and shelter today.

I am going to try to nap for 1.25 hours next.

Oh Twins, I hope you feel better. Happy Birthday too.

We are trying to get out the door. Everything at the last minute, don't ya know!

Plans changed. DXSiL is having dinner tonight so we will stop there first and eat at 7 and then go to other DD's. younger DD's house would have been better for this, but she still doesn't let anyone in her house.

So now with directions printed and the garmen and maps we have a new place. 1st one shouldn't be a problem, but getting on the toll way might be a challenge. And in the dark.

Anyway, we had a nice morning, watched White Christmas; got DH TV Ears going again...and then opened our little gifts to each other, ate lunch, and then packed clothes and we're just about there.

So, wishing everybody a wonderful Christmas Day and Eve. DGSon this morning said it just exactly right:
"Grandma let's just make the best of things this year". I just love this kid!!!

I don't think I napped but I do feel better. Heading out again into the fray to pick up the platter. I won't go in and see mother today just in case I am getting sick.
