spoke to db and d mom. d mom is happily dejunking her cloths.
db will help me with some woodworking. I would love if dd younger and dd older would take classes on repair etc as it will help them as they get older.
I am still considering taking a woodworking class. (without telling anyone except dh)
I took archery that way 8-)

so far
watered outside plants
clipped the dead flowers etc. in front and back yard
took dd older to the juice shop and we had a nice drive in the countryside (lots of the land is flooded and roads closed down)
flip flopped laundry and folded some as well
cleaned out the laundry room sink
talked to d mom
talked to dd younger with dd older. dd older is here bc her neighborhood has a huge art sale and tons of streets are closed. She couldn't get around and left just in time as they were setting up the barriers which should be there until she comes home from work on Monday.

no dailies (except meds done) - time to work inside and then do the car and take it to the car wash b4 driving mom
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Extra laundry has been taken through to a stopping place. Lots of drip-dries today.

The flower basket planters are out again in the sunshine in this brief few hours without rain, but later we are to expect awful downpours so bad they'll result in flooding, so I must watch.

Extra attention to outdoor chores today and henhouse - reading and posting in our Outdoor forum was fun.

Those with colds and sniffles Get Well Soon! Dee, garlic might be a help for respiratory.

I can find no enthusiasm for cooking/attending for the covered dish lunch tomorrow. For one thing, HRH isn't feeling well. For another, minister's wife has said this other minister coming to speak afterward is just a personal friend of her husband's, not representing any body of church government. What's the point then - being polite? Would she know? I think so. It's a disappointment. We are not in need of our same minister's point of view being represented to us again, or hearing from someone who only knows him. Thought it was going to be formal guidance.

I went through the sermon again. Ended up making it 5% longer, not shorter.

Will print it off and see if a red pen helps.

Those accomplished with the added bonus of several other tasks.

I have cooked/served/cleaned up 2 simple meals today. Breakfast was scrambled eggs & toast for everyone. Lunch was a big pot of spaghetti & meat sauce. Tonight's meal will be leftovers or something easy & simple.

Next up -
** Print June's calendar. I thought I already did but it isn't on the printer tray or on the refrigerator door.
** Living room dailies
** Swim pool dailies

I've red-penned the sermon and read it through 2x. It comes in at 15 minutes. For some of you that's a short sermon. In the United Church, that is a too-long sermon. On the other hand, the service should be one hour and I was done in around 40 minutes last time so adding in another 5 minutes for a long sermon won't make anyone late out of church.

I guess I'll go ahead with it as it is. I keep looking for stuff to cut but when I do, I just add in more for context. So it isn't helping!

I'm starving so, despite just having a snack, I'll have my dinner now. I went through netflix looking for something to watch and found some options.
