Cathy & Blessed - sending good paperwork vibes your way. YGG!
Those 3 categories accomplished.
DH and DS10 have been launched to stay with DMIL today. This will be the first time DS10 has stayed all day there. He will be bored out of his gourd but that is good (IMHO) for a child to experience. He will have a day spent with no friends, no pets, no TV, no games, no wifi, no bike....basically, everything that he normally does will not be possible for him to do today. I packed a 9x13" tray of food for DS10 to eat today - enchiladas, Mexican rice, refried beans, Mexican milk cake. he will survive. LOL.
DD came and got DGD8 so I AM ALL ALONE for 3 hours. I get to have silence. Glorious silence.
I'm taking DMom to her quarterly Parkinson checkup with a neurologist at noon today. I have been struggling with deciding on how to tell the doc that DMom is experiencing hallucinations sometimes without upsetting DMom. DMom doesn't think she is hallucinating because it seems so real to DMom. This morning it finally dawned on me how I could bring this subject up at the appointment. I have a cousin that also has Parkinson and has started to experience hallucinations. I can talk to the doctor about my cousin (DMom's favorite nephew). DMom would be eager to hear what could be done when Parkinson related hallucinations happen so she can help her DNephew. it's a plan....I just hope it works without upsetting DMom.
