Oh. My. Goodness.

Pray for wisdom and sense for me. I found the camper used, locally, just listed. I am anxiously awaiting word from my financial advisor. If he says ok, I will make an appointment to see it tomorrow. I would leave early and see it today, but my carpool mate wouldn't like that much. I even know where the dealership is.

Oh. My. Goodness.

<This sat here for hours.>

Harriet: a maid service isn't a bad idea. You still have to do the tidying/rearranging but you don't also have to muster the energy to do the actual cleaning.

The bed was stripped and remade, towels washed, bedding in the washer now, and my hiking pants/jacket were washed. There is still a load of whites waiting to be done. That load is done and the sheets are dry along with the towels. I need to hang up the whites since I just walked in the door.

I've wound, set, and restarted the clock. I've figured out why the weather station wasn't working (it wasn't the outside batteries but the inside ones, so all 8 have been changed.)

I've dusted and polished the dining room furniture.

I sent an email about a fall cruise (there's none in the price range I want to pay) and sent a request to book back at Hay Lake in September for 5 days.

I ran out to pick up my new computer from the UPS drop off and since the car was out anyway, swung by a nearby mall that had the bank, natural food store (henna) and milk I needed.

I still have vacuuming and other dusting to do.

But I also have emails to answer that came in while I was out. I picked up the mail and the government would like me to prove my charitable contribution claim on my taxes. Thankfully, that's not difficult, just time consuming to scan all the receipts. I think I can submit scans now instead of mailing hard copies. I did that for something last year.

d harriet - I hired a cleaning service before my d mom came home... no shame in it at all. I just knew I was overwhelmed by work etc. and having the cleaners was wonderful! I was thrilled and all the stress left me!

keeping fingers crossed for wonderful mail service d dee!

hello d cathy
waving hello

hello all.. this is far back as it lets me go.

I steamed the 3 season room. I still have more work but that will be another day. I am in the process of cleaning the windows. found that all the water that we have had and previous rains in the last few years have rotted the wood in an area - wowzers.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I just looked at my computer box. I knew it was cut into in the middle so I wanted to take a picture of it and show it that way with the seal intact. The seal is NOT intact. Over the week my computer was in that convenience store, someone opened up the box.

I'm really upset at the moment.

My existing computer just did one of its slowdowns (basically taking 3+ minutes to load a page or respond to a click like shutting down a program.) So I switched to email with support at Lenovo and they haven't responded back to the photos I sent.

Sigh...

I've folded all the laundry now. And loaded the dishwasher (but a couple of things can't go in.) The kitchen does look tidier now.

I need to work on signs for the mail room bulletin boards.
