Monday Ongoing

We are supposed to get one heck of a storm tonight. I decided that I am going to bed now to read.

2 of the books I've been reading have been by Beverly Lewis. Both of them happen to be trilogies that are all in one volume. The first one got so overly extremely religious by the end of the 2nd "book" that I had to put it down. This one is going the same way. Both books are about the Plain Amish of Pennsylvania, but they are both about how the heroine of the story switches from being Plain Amish to "Christian" and leaving her family because she gets shunned... I have the feeling that I will be abandoning this book as well.

— did calligraphy — sort of — for a gift for dmom to give dcousin. “Sort of” because I used a Sharpie instead of a calligraphy/fountain pen. We’ll see what dmom thinks.
— checked health insurance info online
— talked to dmom on phone
— went to dgs’s t-ball game
— watched d irectv man work — chipmunk had chewed up our tv cables

I have the paint on the stool and it is drying now.
We've had dinner, and I cleaned up after and got the dishwasher loaded.

heard from dd who is now up to 8 min of small baby steps, and not much else I gather. I'm thinking rtn to work may be a longer time coming than was anticipated.

Tuesday
Finished a book, and not much else.
Rain is falling atm.
