Hi!

I was up earlier than usual to make sure the garbage and recycling were at the end of the driveway. I don't know when the trucks start to roll, but it seems to be earlier with the sun being up earlier. I just brought the empty garbage can back up the driveway.

Last night's laundry got into the dryer this morning, but I haven't turned it on yet.

I've been stitching this morning.

We might go out for supper tonight instead of tomorrow night.

Eeeek Harriet! No, not a April Fools joke, and I've spent a lot of that time on a case study that won't pan out. I need to adapt it into an article for a lesser publication but don't have the heart to do so yet.

I've seen two online jokes this a.m. - one for Orvis Dog Waders: https://news.orvis.com/fly-fishing/intr ... LKashhyH60

The other is the "Board for Certification of Genealogists" redefining "reasonably exhaustive research:"
“In times of pandemic, when many libraries and repositories are closed and unavailable to researchers, reasonably exhaustive research can be achieved when the genealogist is tired of clicking their mouse, i.e., when they are exhausted.”

Speaking of which, I'm heading to the library in a minute. I'm still casting about trying to figure out a new plan.

I started to be clever with an April Fool's but 1) I'm not that clever, and 2) this is a safe environment.

If anyone else has one, please have fun with it! Oh, pretty much ruined the surprise now, Harriet. (sorry)

No, look, Twins' found some.

I sincerely HOPE some of us are where we want to be at this point of the year in at least some facets of our lives! That would not be me. But I'd be delighted to hear about it!

Looking at some deadlines here, and realizing it's the deadlines that will probably make the accomplishments, not my efficiency. Life will soon pick me up and put me down at a new space, ready or not. I need to figure out some muscle, as in "two men and a truck" or that type of help. Ds' back concerns are enough right now to make me decide he shouldn't be point-man for furniture, just in supervision with me. And dstepson is going to be exhausted enough (though happy) from getting out of our way. He's working on his house some every day (building closet shelving now, waiting on trees to be planted so he can get his certificate of occupancy).

Thank you, Twins'. The Orvis one is emailed titled "for Gunner" to my granddog, who does love his fishing trips, so ds can contemplate this puzzle at the fire station this morning.

Thanks for that Harriet.

I was hoping to start a New Year under an ancient timetable, today.
I was derailed.

Maybe I'll start a new year over Easter, or just beyond.

<snip?>
rest of day
lockdown for city over - with conditions, and mandatory mask wearing throughout the state.
Tonight I see someone had visited 'down the coast near here' though so time still for caution.

midday appointment
bus home
lunch
nap
woke and decided to catch bus for Thursday night service.
It grew dark as I waited for the bus, wishing I'd walked the other way to residental area, where a souped up car wasn't stopped and reving opposite.
I was able to get in - number limits apply.
I do love the choir that sings at Easter services. There were no Easter services except videoed last year. My first service with music in over a year.
For Saturday Sunday services they are going with numbered / ticketed seating to allow extra attendees. I think that is just this Weekend. It looked really cramped to me, even with everyone masked.
Much for me to pray about. For family and all.

Walked home. bought thai meal on the way. Ate half. had a banana smoothie as well as I needed the chia seeds.

Its after 11. Goodnight all. Waving to all who have posted, and those to come.
