Sigh... the force was too strong here.
We lost the last remaining hickory tree in our front yard.
When we built, our huge front porch was shaded by two beautiful hickory trees that had probably been here close to 100 years.
One fell in a storm years ago snd we never replaced it... but now they’re both gone and I don’t think I can stand to have this bare front yard.
Any suggestions on what to look for to replace it/them — something that will grow fast enough to provide shade in my lifetime, but not something prone to problems like Bradford pears?
Tomorrow is another day.

Another night of not sleeping well

Have started taking melatonin and it worked well last night but not tonight

We finished the questions and have a video chat appointment with the psychologist Friday the 14th for Billy(4)
We've had a video appointment with her before and she has observed Billie while he was at therapy using an iPad
Am so thankful for technology That makes life a little easier.

Going to read a little on my Kindle
I have downloaded 3 Erma Bombeck books that were on a special 3 books for 2.99
Erma was always so funny

Hoping it will send me off to dreams
