hello again

I have cranky people around me today. dh - mad - annoyed at dogs -annoyed at christmas prep, just annoyed etc etc. it takes so much energy on his part.

d mom - same thing... cranky pants

My road is going down a different direction-feeling happy and enjoying some christmas spirit. I can't go down their road. I will have to feed mom lunch if she doesn't come with me.

I think I must be bored. I emptied the dishwasher even though there is nothing to go into it right now. The only dirty pot is "soaking" in the sink. The washer is empty.

Contractor guy is supposed to be here tonight. Fingers crossed. I want my library back, which can't happen until the hall is done.

I told dh I didn't want to go get fruit with him because I wanted to have a shower and crawl into bed for a while. I guess I had better get moving.

Can't keep up because of power outage here. On phone so I'll be brief. We got an estimate now of about dark for possible restart. Ds says this a big one with other towns involved.

I'm mad at the dog too, bw2. She saw me putting on shoes to workout and interprets that as time for a walk. And she's barking to let me know she expects the walk.

I've been ignoring her but my ears are not happy.

I'm leaving now to workout. She will have to wait.

Hey Cathy, since you are bored and the dishwasher is empty you should pull out the racks, wash down the interior with a baking soda paste, clean the water holes from the spray arms (they sometimes get soap build up in them), clear the filter screen at the bottom, and use a toothbrush to clean around the soap dispenser. Then run it through a rinse/hold cycle to rinse it out, and make sure the rinse agent dispenser if full.

I’ve been busy buzzing around these last few days restocking some of my Xmas decorations. I have most of my Xmas presents bought. I usually get it done by the last week of Nov or the first week of Dec. I started doing that when I was around 22 and was a Navy wife. Back then and up until a few years ago I had to mail most of my gifts. Old habits die hard

Today I was out the door early for a hair cut. Then I did a small grocery run before I came home. Drank my second cup of coffee and started on my Cmas tree. It’s almost done but my star decided to die so I had to reorder a new one. Should be here in a couple of days.

Still have a few things to do around the house for Cmas, but for the most part I’m done.

LadyM… I’ve been trying to add more protein to my diet. Keeps me from getting hungry. Just finished my chicken salad and made sure there was 4 0xs of chicken.
