No theme for today, no imagination for now. Let's just do it!

This is get away day for us. Dfriends will be here at 2:45 to leave for ATL, with me driving. Somehow when we talked about driving v taking the shuttle to ATL, I don't recall that I was slated to drive. But I'll be fine.

I've started a load of laundry. I didn't mean to do it today but my bit of OCD prefers that I not leave much laundry because we come home with more. I have dishwasher going also. I walked ddog two laps.

I'm getting in the shower next, after that need to get out of the house. Laundry can go in dryer before I leave.

dh made an appointment with a fix it company that is really expensive. I am staying out of it. hopefully he won't be shocked. I found out last night that this man is coming at 10.

this am. dogs (one dog) tore apart a stuffed animal and it is everywhere this morning.
lights are still under the table in the kitchen
all my plants are on the table
white laundry on the table
counters have ribbon

there is a lot of sun overlooking the snow. today we are supposed to get to 40 deg. the other day it 7 when we woke up.

time for the next right thing :D
1. coffee (more coffee) :D
2. family room :D
3. kitchen :D
4. start 3 x 5's - laundry - some

5. pick up mom earlier- feed mom/meds
6 errands including picking up her meds.

7. hope to do christmas decorating
8. put chicken on with roasted veg.

being grateful is on my list today

Safe travel, Twins!

Thanks for starting us off!

I had a horrid night, starting in the evening with long coughing spells. At 5 I got up and moved to the recliner so dh could get 2 hours uninterrupted sleep. I walked around the apartment a bit, made up a cup of hot water with lemon and honey and settled in the recliner. I dozed until 7 and dh checked on me, I got more hot water and lemon and a heat-bag for my sore chest and then dozed until 8.

Got off only a little late to run my 8.30 errand but between congestion, my ADHD, and lack of sleep, most tasks took 2 tries.

I'm having tea, chocolate and SAD Lite now.

I have to get the social room ready for a fire safety talk this morning at 11. If the decongestant kicks in and I'm not coughing, I'll stay (masked of course) but if not, I'll have to leave it to others to manage things. In prep for that, I have to find an email from the building manager and print it off to be shared.

I've updated the signs in two of the mail rooms but will have to go back this afternoon to take down today's event and put up the next 2 events (tree decorating and then Christmas Party.)
