Happy Sunday - peaceful Sunday - What do you think your week would look like?

Postby blessedw2 » Sun Dec 03, 2023 11:47 am

Do you have a routine set for this week? Do you have a Monday through Sunday plan? Can you create a week that is not over planned?

What does your week look like? Can you simplify it?

I wish you calm and peace!

Have a wonderful day!

dd younger called and she said she made it to Florida. She was met with mold and moisture at the apartment. She had to toss everything in the fridge and freezer and there seems to be moisture on the walls. The a/c is working but I am wondering if power went out for a bit or the dehumidifier is not working right.

While mom is here in Chicago - dd will hire someone to clean all the rugs etc. mom does not want this but it needs doing.

Today's hopes - getting back to my weekly routine will help keep chaos away.

1. Calendar planning according to the 3 x 5 system.
A. add mom's routine to mine
B. plan meals - I didn't want to cook for the week after thanksgiving.
C. plan the holiday work/including gift giving.
D. add little things that give me joy

2. finish the holiday decorating
3 order dd Youngers gifts
4. pay the cc once things are ordered.

Wishing you a wonderful day.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Hi!

Contractor guy has been here since just after 9 a.m. I had just gotten dressed and I heard his truck pull into the driveway. He also painted the bedroom door and the bathroom door! Today he put the second coat of paint in the hallway.

Dh went out and bout a pork roast for supper.

It's pouring rain here. Dh put a fire in the fireplace earlier.

Later...

WOOT WOOT!! Painting is all done! I can start putting stuff back finally after 6 months!!

My day is slipping away..

I’ve been putting up decorations but not quite finished. I have some desk work to do so I’ll leave the rest for another daY.

I never plan my week except for daily routines and known appointments. I usually know where I need to be on any given day and just go with the flows

I changed the bed today and my sheets are in the dryer. Once they are done, I’ll remake the bed. In the meantime t I need to pick up around the house with odds and ends decorations.

Trying for a peaceful day, but it will be busy as always on Sunday.

Have to admit, I had a big meltdown last night after we got all the Christmas stuff out. We — me and the dgrands.
I was just so tired and we still haD A HUGE mess to clean up, and I am just so tired of being the one in charge of EVERYTHING. Decorating, buying all gifts, even my own, wrapping, cleaning up… sometimes it just seems like too much.
Dh said, “well don’t do it. This is not what Christmas is about.”
But I WANT it all, and I am sorry he’s sick and can’t help, and I feel worse for making him feel bad…
But sometimes Christmas is just HARD.

I’m in a little better frame of mind today.
Thinking I can’t do hours upon hours of work — must schedule breaks.
Tomorrow is another day.

quick hi - yes sometimes christmas is hard!!!

mom's took longer than expected - she hadn't eaten this morning and I believe her sugars were low... not eating equals confusion for mom. I will talk to her dr.
she got lost in her building while I was waiting on the side door. about 15 min. +she found her way back to her apartment. She removed her tag that we have for her so that we know where she is. She said it's hard to get old. I feel for her.

I will be in her apartment earlier and feed her/giver her the meds she needs.

Yea I made it to church.
It was raining so got a free auto wash while I was there win win!
I did okay glad for that now triggers.
They had simple decor up no tree I liked it.

I totally forgot it was the day for doing that at the church yesterday.
Dd called while I was in church, I turned the volume down & texted her.
Then called her later.
Had soup for lunch my roll was great!
I did 15 min. at least in my office I had put a bunch of stuff here and there so it needs more rounds but it is good to begin.
I just saw a hawk in a tree not a very big one.

Next week
Sheets
sew a seam
put mower in shed
fuel rig
finish BWP
