My goodness, RR, glad it was found and can be monitored! ((Hugs on the discovery,))

Chicken soup has noodles in and is cooking and close to done. Once i can turn it off I'll go get my shower. DH has gone upstairs on his computer and has an online meeting later.

I may have misspoken about our weather earlier. We're going up to seventy today!

((Rose)), how startling for you that your tests found an aneurism. Echoing Twins in saying glad it was found so it can now be monitored.

(((LucyLee))) - WOW! I'm sorry you went through the stress preparing for surgery that was postponed at the last moment. I hope you both get some deep and refreshing sleep now.

Twins - Good news about your neighbor's surgery. Glad it went well and praying for speedy recovery.

(((RR)))) Just saying the words brain aneurism sounds scary. Good for you to have a good medical team to find it and develop a plan to go forward. DH was diagnosed with abdominal aortic aneurism many years ago and it has stayed stable.

I have a lady gathering tonight at church. I am thrilled that our congregation is growing with more young families. The ladies gathering is planned by the younger generations and that does make me happy. They prepare lots of food, crafts, and games with prizes. My favorite part is opportunities to chat with friends.

My eating lately has been a challenge that I have to put in extra effort just to stay stable. Potlucks, parties, celebrations and being gone from home during mealtimes is always a challenge. Having them occur multiple days in a row is a struggle. I am doing my best to record everything I eat in cronometer because I want the nutritional data it gives. The data is only as good as the accuracy I can record the food.

d rose - (((()))) I pray the specialist can give you answers that you need. You are cared for! I am glad they are monitoring it!

d dove waving at you!

d Lucy so hard to believe that the dr had to cancel - I am sure your dh feels like the weight is off of him. I also know that your weight is not gone. Praying for your dr. as well.

hi d twins. your soup sounds wonderful

hi d lady - yay on an easy homeschool day!

-----------------------------------
-spoke to dd younger - she is talking about getting another dog - praying she doesn't until she is set in her career and a home.
-dd younger said dd older is extremely stressed and cranky - dd older is flying home today. dd older can't understand why we hired nurses and spoke to friends to watch over mom and give her the meals dd younger made and meds, while dd goes to her dog training seminar in Boca - that she should stay with mom.
-She said the elevator keeps going on and off.
-my uncle and aunt went back to Florida and came yesterday and only Brought enough pizza for the two of them and mom. Also dd's didn't know they were coming and dd's/mom were leaving for a reservation. dd's invited them to the dinner but uncle and aunt were upset they asked and they couldn't understand why mom didn't have wine. geesh. dd's went out to dinner and mom stayed with uncle and aunt. ah my family. Mom is always mean after they visit. they are condescending to her and she doesn't see it.

-We spoke for an hour and dd younger needed to vent a bit. ;) 8-)

- time to eat lunch
-dogs are asleep

Yes, serendipitous that Mr. Lee didn't have the surgery today. I'm glad he feels better.

I've s2s-ed and feel much better. That allowed me to take up rugs in bathroom and start Roomba. Dh is upstairs.

Remember I was thinking a couple of weeks ago of how I make the list but don't prioritize? I'm trying to figure out a better way to keep a list going and prioritize. Typically I just add an OMM list to the calendar page in my book w/o rhyme or reason. Some get carried over, some get forgotten about, some get done. And I have another list in the front of my planner which is "things OMM but not to do this week." I need to review it as I make a list for the week too. And instead of just jotting things down, need to be sure the priorities rise to the top.

I gotta get this DAR application done and in the mail and I can't seem to get restarted.

Twins so glad you got the DAR application in the mail yea for you!
I know you have been working towards that for a long time.
Yesterday I watched parts of a show on PBS on how good it is to keep learning,
I've seen other shows like this a great encouragement for me after getting the two writing books.
I did read a section and am contemplating the next "assignment", it is more for a work setting so will need
to do a fake one, maybe I can write about the results after a call, and after a meeting like a memo.
I have one more chapter in the other book it is great to compare how different these two are!

Soup passed the taste test yea!
Ice is still not melted off the deck table in the shade glad I waited to do the store run.
Updated my bujo.
Read a chapter in one book this morning
and a chapter in a diff. book after lunch.
Both were on writing.
Got the soup in smaller containers and washed up the cooking pot.
Too cold and windy for a walk but did get to the mail box and picked up the back yard so that is some steps.

Earthquake 4.9 in s. Idaho this morning.
A bit of hail this afternoon windy and br-r. 39*F

MIxed up some plain-jane bread it is raising now.
Bread is done loaf looks perfect and smells so good!
Late in the day for this but got step count up the half way at 4:00 pm I usually have this much done in my noon to 2 pm time slot.
Writing is not so good for my steps.
Got the sinks cleaned and swished the bathrooms.
The dog joined me with some new dance steps she can twirl or spin and did it down the hall.
I put away the green basket that got more paint on it this morning.

Got the dishes done and put away.
The trash is ready to take out.

Oh, lucylee, my goodness, how bad must the injury be if the surgeon cannot stand up to do surgery! (gratitude he didn't try it if he personally is not 100% on his game today) They do not like to postpone like this, for sure, because the whole team has been assembled for surgery, not to mention surgeon can't get paid for surgery he doesn't do. I had really hoped this would all be in the rear-view mirror for ya'll, lucylee. Yes, get a nap.

Ramblin', I will pray for the monitoring of the aneurism. HRH had a brain aneurism burst when he was about 30 and it didn't do anything doctors could find, except he had to go through a bunch of tests, which found no consequence. One doctor mused that maybe that's why HRH is claustrophobic, but another said no, even that had nothing to do with it. I hope nothing comes of yours whatsoever.

((Twins' Dad)) - so frustrating.

blessed, aunt and uncle's expectations at that visit seem a little much - so sorry things went wrong. It is concerning to hear that the elevator goes in and out. It's not acceptable, frankly. Happy to hear your dh is having happier days, doing different things. Hopefully he keeps improving.

I've done a lot of sewing and had just one easy-to-ignore mistake. Needed 32 units, have 33, plus enough leftover pieces for more on the chance anything amazing happens. I did part of the work at counter height, part at desk height, and I think that kind of thing will protect my back.

I am so glad you had sewing time!!! how lovely d harriet.

Spoke to dd older and she is happy again -she said her stress didn't bring out her best but she is on the plane, after dd younger dropped her off. Dd older is feeling so much better. I am sure she will talk about it when she comes back. ;) :D I am also sure dd younger will call me too 8-) 8-) 8-)

spoke to d mom - dd younger bought food for mom for the next three days that dd younger will be gone - the nurses will give her meds and meals and spend time with mom - problem is that mom wants to throw it all out bc she doesn't need it. I am sure dd younger will set it up nicely and hopefully mom will eat it instead of tossing it. I got a compliment though - she said that I should look at her as a sister too. - that's actually a high compliment from mom.

dh ate the lunch I gave him!
he slept must of the afternoon but is happy.

hi d Nancy yay on your soup!
reading a chapter - wonderful

hi d twins glad you are feeling better.
you have got this - do 15 minutes on the DAR application. It's a good step!

Blessed - I hope you get to enjoy the warmer temps for a few days.

We are currently at 91F with bright sunshine and no wind. However, winter is still hanging around because the temp drops almost 40 degrees on Wednesday and we have a freeze on Thursday.

I just met the electrician at the church. DH asked what I wanted for Valentine day and I asked for the light and fan controls to be changed in the area that I sit in church. The changes were approved by the board last week so now we are in the process of making it happen. The electrician is booked for weeks but will try to fit this job in when he gets a break.

I've spent some time chatting with DD12 when she got home from school. Now I'm in encourager mode for her to get cards done. I'll be leaving for my event in about 30 minutes.
