time to work again.

I ordered groceries and dd older put them away.

I have 5 pounds of bacon to make - yuck.
I also have to cook the sausage and pull the veggie sausages.

dd: DON'T OVERTHINK - NO PERFECTION!
She also said "come to me if you get stuck and I will help you focus on the next right thing". Grateful

I spent the morning setting up for our community’s annual egg hunt. We also had a real live human Easter bunny that the kids could get pictures with. Egg hunt for 500 kids is not for the faint of heart, but I was inside handing out prizes that were found in the plastic eggs.

We also had a face painter and a magician as well as a bouncy house and a few other games. There was pop corn and plenty of drinks and as usual I ended up doin kid patrol including some parents.

I stayed to help clean up..wiped down big tables..15 of them…swept tons of candies and pop corn off the floor. Washed and dried the 5 gallon containers the drinks were in and washed 15 plastic bowels the candy was in. The as my friend and I were leaving, I noticed the stakes and caution tap we used to make lanes were still in the ground. So my friend and I went to work. I wiggled and pulled all the stakes up and she gathered all the tape. Quick work with busy hands.

I said good bye a second time and headed for home and am just now drinking my second cup of coffee. It was a fun event and I enjoyed myself plus I came home with over 6ks of steps… not to mention 6 very small rolls of Smartie Candy in my pocket for my rewards :D:

I’ll be watching basket ball with Twins this afternoon.

Waving to y’all.

I agree about the photos right now, bw2. Can you dd come over here for a consultation?

So many things OMM that I'm trying to capture. I've been piddling.
-changed purses into travel purse with RFID protection. It's ugly, but big enough for purchases or extra stuff.
-added airtag to purse
-mailed deposit slip to temple for cemetery check
-made a list of all the OTC and other meds and "just in case" stuff in a gallon bag. I'm taking stuff for gas and diarrhea, colds, covid, thermometer, band aids and antibiotic ointment, etc. Plus extras of the meds I take for trigeminal neuralgia in case they're needed.
-got the mail and paid a bill

What fun to participate, RR! BTW, all DAR applications go to the national headquarters in D.C. for review there. But registrars do things differently apparently too. I have a NJ friend who is a state registrar I think.

Next right thing: My brain is misfiring and not able to put like things together. too many decluttering decisions?
1. put all the sheets etc. that I plan on washing in laundry basket in the laundry room washing now :D
2. recycling outside :D
3. put away at the bottom of the stairs ( that I threw down from upstairs) :D
4. put things in car for donation (new curtains that dd's bought for when dh had a hospital bed in the front room. :D
5. put the 5 remaining containers I just purchased on empty basement closet shelves.
4. fold and put away my laundry that dh/dd put on the kitchen table after they took it out of the dryer. :D

WOW! I just CUOP and SHE's were busy doing a wide variety of activities today. #LoveOurVilliage

Using 4 vehicles and multiple hands DGS27 was moved from apartment to his new-to-him house. DS15 continues to amaze me with his work ethic and get-it-done attitude. He works circles around everyone else. I am so very pleased for DGS27 in his new location. I hope he has many years of enjoying his location. The change is starkly different. As we were loading DGS27 items from the apartment into vehicles one of the apartments had their door standing open and playing LOUD MUSIC. We struggled to talk to each other because of the music. Contrast that to a new location where the only sound was the birds singing in the trees. It was almost silent.

DS15 left this morning to work a couple of hours before we went to move DGS27. AFter we finished moving DGS27, then DGS15 went to help someone else that requested his help. I think he is moving furniture and spreading mulch in flower gardens there. He plans to wash his pickup and ride dirt bikes when he finishes working there. DS15 energy level never seems to run out.
