What's up today? Great aspirations or just keeping up?

Morning girls…

Twins… enjoy your shower :D

I woke with a boomer.. took some sinus meds and drank strong coffee. Still have a bit of it, but my head feels much better.

In the meantime:
I’ve stripped the beds and started the laundry
Cleaned the kitchen and put last nights dishes away
Vacuumed the main area
Shook out all the throw rugs
Watered my sunnies and my side yard plants

And am about to vacuum my lanai

Thankfully it’s a partially cloudy day with a slight breeze.

See ya all later… make it a good one!

Good Morning!

I ran a fever all day yesterday with low energy level. I think it was my body reacting to the RSV shot. Thankfully, we had a blank schedule so i could relax instead of needing to push myself to take care of things. My fever is gone this morning and my energy level is returning. All is good.

Today is our two oldest grandsons' birthdays. They are 29 and 27 years old. WOW! Time flies. We are meeting for lunch at a favorite restaurant to celebrate.

I have 30 minutes to finish getting ready for church.

I slept through the wind advisory I thought it was rain.
Looked about the yard and picked up a hand full of thighs might be from squirrels making a nest.
Watered in front.
QT stuff is done with limited writing going to do audible prayers today.
Cleaned out the MEP planner that is 99% done yea! Got a diff page to fit with a bit of cutting and tweaking for refilling good
to know that they will work dotted pages that I am enjoying this season.
I have some plans in mind for my meals.
Staying close to home today.

Thinking on how I can celebrate when I am finally done with the MRP stuff.
I'll put in journal on thread gift basket & meal ideas.

I did some spot mopping. I have a lot of clean stuff to put away in the kitchen and some clean laundry as well.

Dh has a customer's teenage son here helping fill in the new, huge, garden boxes with some scraps from trees from the business across the street. Dh asked the owner last week, and he has permission to come over any time to help himself. Now dh just needs to drive the kid home.

Leftover spaghetti for supper.

Laundry never stops.

Sitting with dd25 as she gets an oil change for her car. She wants to go by the goodwill to check that out for some summery work tops that night allow variety. Then we'll get lunch.

Last evening prayer meeting was long but very good with preacher's thoughts in mini-sermons, so wise.

The young man brought. Dd home after yard work last evening. Their. new neighbor had helped mow some because of storm coming in. So they had a time to meet.

Cathy - are you filling the raised bed garden using the Hügelkultur method?

I'm home from church. It was an unusual small group study time because we didn't follow our plan because there were many who needed to discuss things that are happening with kids in schools. It is heart wrenching what some shared they are going through. DFriend joined me in the nursery during the worship service. I had 2 babies that wanted to be held so she was a tremendous help to me.

I am taking a 10 minute break before leaving to meet my family at a restaurant.

Lunch is in the oven.
I've had some time for reflection and did some writing that was helpful.
I think my eye is improving.
I cut off some sweats been meaning to do that forever they work for me much better trying to decide to hem or not to hem them.
at 11:10 it is 53* and feels chilly to me.
