May Declutter Strategy, 2024

Postby Harriet » Wed May 01, 2024 11:31 am

Spacious - a very lovely word, but an ideal that's hard to come by in a cluttered home. What's your strategy for the month of May, to discover the spaciousness of your lovely home?

What is improving your SPACE going to help you with?

Space to learn ballroom dancing?

Space to race remote-controlled cars with your guests?

Space to finally find out the best fold for paper airplanes?

Space to see across, to enjoy your decorating on the other side of the room without having to actually go over there?

If we have fun with declutter, then we can have all kinds of fun with our spaces!

Today I'm trying to reduce the stacks of papers & journals in my butterfly room. ACK!
Is the state of things in there.

I put a bag out in the shed to declutter and have been adding items to it.
Church is having a yard sale for youth to go to camp fund raiser.
Just realized I did a bit declutter in Dec.
so this may be a quarterly thing not sure.

-----
I have been doing daily trips out to the shed with smaller fewer items to declutter as I find em.
This helped my step count too.

WTG! Everyone!

Our covered trailer is completely decluttered and cleaned now, with new tires, preparing for dd's move and then DangerBoy's move in later June to the short summer semester at college. As dd moves out, a lot of change will happen.
