Thanks, Nancy!

Today I broke apart and threw away a frame from a cheap old full-length mirror at my parents'. It has been taking up space for years I guess, the mirror long gone. Dd11 helped me pull out the few things that were stored underneath the bed in their spare/storage bedroom and I swiffered the wood floors under there. Still need to vacuum but I wanted to do that first. Really getting to the last areas of that room now. When HRH went in there to move the bed for me he said he had no idea I had made so much change in the room.

Labels made for my ddad's plastic storage drawers in the master bedroom. I need to buy a couple more plastic storage boxes for antique linens I've decided to save.

2 more TKGbags out to trash from my parents'.

1 more TKGbag to donation (my car trunk so far) from our house.

1 more 16-quart Rubbermaid storage box filled and labeled "antique linens" for my parents.

Oh, Nancy, frames are tough decisions. I keep looking at my dmom's lifetime collection of old ones and thinking I could salvage them and make them look good. But when will I find the time. I must keep only the ones we love.

Now taking the swiffering into their bedroom and sorting/organizing more as I go. Under one old heavy, low chest of drawers the dust was terrible. :( I was upset that my dmom has been sleeping where there was so much dust nearby, confused as to how the spot has been missed (?) by both of us for a long time, but grateful for the skinny-skinny swiffer, because it would take 2 men if we actually had to move that piece. How much better to slowly swiffer first and check it out, than to vacuum and risk blowing all that dust where elderly folks live.
