I actually did some filing of patterns in the bunny/craft room today! And put out hot spots on the eating bar and dining room table, too.

This evening I plan on sorting through some baskets, examining what I have, save what I need, purge what I don't need, and file what I want to keep.

I have my 2012 and 2013 day runners out, to transfer b-days to. I have 2013 appt.'s listed already, for next year. I also want to transfer this stuff to wall calendars. I have one in my small office for work and one in the bathroom, to remind me ahead of time what's on the agenda, too. 1st things 1st! I need to do the day runner for next year before I can do the calendars.

I want to work more daily hours on my writing in 2013, keep my reading up for work and study, pleasure, too. I want to eat 3 fruits a day for my eye health, as said by an eye study, which my specialist endorses and to get my body stronger while I'm losing weight from 170 Lbs. down to 140 Lbs. I've lost 110 Lbs. since 1992, so the last 30 Lbs. won't be too hard. I'm doing it slow, so it's more permanent, too. Those are some of my goals. I'm posting them on colored 4 x 6" index cards, decorated with a sticker and in color pens with a Bible Verse that's special to me, too. I started my index goal/verse cards today and will work on them this evening while we watch TV, too. :D

wow on the weight loss d ivy... I am hoping that I can push myself more towards health and weight loss. I realize there is no magic pill and I just have to move, which I actually like to do but always hard to get started. what was your inspiration. and what do you do as I know it is constant work.

hi all that dejunked.

my dejunking yeahs... for years I have been dejunking... my basement is wonderful right now lol (clutter moves in weird ways) - the only thing is dd younger has our crawl space pretty well filled but did dejunk 1/2 of it this summer so I am very proud of her.

I just can't look in the crawl space as it overwhelms the senses with all of their stuff.
acceptance of things has helped me get rid of much of my sewing stuff.

I need to dejunk the dining room table and eating bar tonight. DD and Dgrson-16 are coming Christmas Eve after all, so want things to be spiffed up since they'll have a sleepover, too. Will be so busy tonight and Sunday, too. But it's good for me/us. :D :D I told DD the house isn't spotless.

Thanks for the compliment on my weight loss, Blessed. I had 3 goodies today at a Dfriend's house. 1 Russian Tea Cake, 1 small square of fudge, and a dream bar. Oh, they were VERY good. :D

I dejunked the dining room table and eating bar, end tables, all in time for Christmas Eve. After everybody left, last night I tidied up the eating bar, and have Hickory Farms and another meats & cheeses box out for New Year's Eve. DD and Dgrson-16 never stayed overnight on Christmas Eve because they needed to leave for home at 9 a.m. Christmas Day. We got snow forecast, so they stayed away and we'll exchange gifts at another time.

DH and I got the pub table put all back together with the built-in leaf put back down inside it in the bottom. The dining room table's tidy, I have a place mat on the eating bar for my index card control journal and list pads. We're shaping up around here, too, in my bunny room. I put away card-making supplies because I found 2 internet crocheted top dresses for a little girl with fabric skirts. Now I can set the sewing machine up in there and I went through bins and got out pre-washed remnants and cotton yarns. I found a free tutorial on-line how to make the skirt and how to attach it. But the sizes are for 6 months and she's not born yet. However, the bunny room looks nice because paper crafting items are put away. :)

I'm thinking about dejunking under the master bathroom sink on my side, in there and doing the drawers, too, sometime soon. I'd love to get it done before the New Year marches in.

hi book

me: I found myself realizing I can get very carried away if I let myself... the perfect Christmas imagination lol - Thank Goodness God gave me other reminders to make me laugh at my Christmas Ego so I could just enjoy the people around me and the day. :D

Thanks for the encouragement, Blessed, :D and BookSaver, too! :D

I worked on my small office tonight. At the end of it are built-in shelves. They have craft bins on them, small ones, a tool box for beading necklaces and bracelets, etc... I took 1 shelf and put mostly books on the shelf to organize it into a more "office-looking" room, rather than part office with craft supplies. I need to sweep the floor, sort through some baskets and do some more organizing. I want it complete by the New Year, when I resume my writing jobs again. At least that's my motivation.

DD and Dgrson-16 are coming this weekend for a 1-day visit. I'd love to have my entry way china cabinet dusted out by then, too. I also want to sort through drawers and cabinets in the master bathroom. I just feel like getting "stuff" done before New Year's Day rolls around.
