Decluttering in the living room this week, ahead of cleaning there next Focus week. I'm really very pleased with this room. I realize one drawer needs attention, but I can honestly say it is for HRH because it is a media/tech drawer of cables, etc. It is a hidden drawer of his anyway and no one in the room would see it. I think I will choose to add some DVD organizing to this room's week and get ahead, even though all the DVDs are not stored here.

Honestly, more attention to kitchen decluttering, which couldn't get finished last week, wouldn't be a bad idea!

Did my FlyLady new calendar, from Aug. 2014 through Dec. 2015, with stickers, b-day/wedding anniversary reminders, etc.. It took about 3 hours, to put deadlines/titles on, too, but took three 15-min. walking sessions to complete the afternoon. I needed to stretch, from sitting. I decluttered the dining room table, after that. I put colored pens, stickers, and calendars away and they're now hanging up.

Also, I decluttered the bed of sheets and pillowcases, bleached them, rinsed, and dried them. DH and I remade the bed, so worked on decluttering the laundry basket today, too.

We decluttered the eating bar, of mail coming in today, too. :) :)

Will be decluttering the laundry basket today.

Decluttered the closet. ARC donation- including DH's items- are in the entry way awaiting the 14th, when they'll pick up.

DH filled 2 boxes of foods, will fill a cooler with foods, for tomorrow to take to our Dson's home for him and the family. So foods will be decluttered out of here and GONE tomorrow! :P

I put size 12 men's shoes in the ARC donation and I dumped the broken old AFO's I no longer need/can use, in the garbage can.

DH and Dgs pruned and dragged a lot of trimmed stuff into the woods to naturally break down, eventually into humus. :) :)

I added a men's turtleneck to the ARC donation boxes because DH gave it to me to wear, but it fits totally dorky and makes me feel frumpy in it. :ugeek: Better to bless another man, which it'll fit on them better.

I decluttered my office desk after working and sending 3 stories off this weekend. Now, though, I've moved my current Jan. writing notebook to the dining room table. I need to figure out how to be a writer without a mess, when I'm working and it's so hard.

I have an idea!  I have another clipboard storage container, which is for a writing surface in the lap. It's about 2.5" deep, so I can put my spiral-bound notebooks inside it, with my index cards, and stand the clipboard storage up against the end table leg, so it's not cluttering up the dining room table. I'll do that. :!: It won't be out of sight, it won't be out of mind, and will be within reach. ;) Without the messy table. :D
