Will be getting rid of our old gas grill. Need to call the fellow who takes these for scrap metal. I'll be happy it's gone and glad for him to get some money from it.

I was standing in our main office. DH will buy a tower for his monitor, keyboard, etc... someday, when we can afford it. So this room's not being used, except for my printer. I was in there, looking around, at the same time I was checking out my printer paper supply, and was aghast at how much like a STORAGE UNIT it looks like in there! YIKES! I think I'll do a dash and stash in there today!!!!!!!!!!!!

My small office desk has pen pal letters on it, to read, to reply to, etc... WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME LAST NIGHT/TODAY???? I got Tinnitus really bad, but see the Dr. in 1.5 weeks, so that's good. I'll just relax, get my work done, and plow through it all. ;)

This is the path to decluttering I took, on Wednesday:
1- did the MBathR first,
2- did the MBR next,
3- did the great room/dining/kitchen area next,
4- did a dash/stash in the main office, it looks much better, and I'm so happy with it!
5- did 2 LOL and put them away myself,
6- sorted/purged mail,
7- wrote letters, etc.. to pen pals, to declutter replies and their letters/envies I replied to, too.

I have read back through all the pages for this month and still love this quote from Blessedw2:
hello to fellow members of the de-clutter hero league!!! You are doing wonders!
It's true, you have all been doing stellar work. 8-)

Yesterday while I was looking for something else, I ran into a couple of Christmas decor items that I decided could be given up. Both were gifts which is the only reason they were still around this long.

One is a basket that looks worn out, so I tossed it.

The other I have never used because the person who gave it to me broke it right after I opened the package. It was a plaster folk art Santa figurine -- the cutesy style, not the European Olde World style. DSisIL was holding it while she told me where she found it, and she dropped it. 2 pieces broke off but I thought at the time that they would be easy to glue back on.

Of course, by the time we came home from 2 big family parties on that same night, I just set the figurine aside to mend later, and then ... other things took priority. That was a few years ago. Yesterday when I found it again, I decided to take a good look and see if I could fix it right away. I decided that I didn't really like it enough to spend that much time on it, so I threw it away.

Next week I should have some blocks of time to dig into decluttering.

Blessedw2, I've had Tinnitus for 30 years, but dealing with it just fine.

I decluttered:
The bathroom counter, after shower/brushing teeth, etc...
The MBR bed was made,
The kitchen eating bar crochet project, done while marching in place, got put away, and finished,
The kitchen eating bar got decluttered from sorting/purging mail AND from groceries, too!
I decluttered my small office desk, too.

Thanks, Blessedw2 and Booksaver , both! :D :D

I put away 3 LOL I washed/dried today,
I put recycle in the bin,
I put a Kleenex tissue box, which was empty, into the recycle bag,
I am slowly putting hats, crocheted, into a tote, to wrap at a future date,
I purged Christmas card envelopes and junk mail,
I tidied the bathroom counter off the MBR,
I made the bed,
I think that's about it for me today.
