it's monday and for the week I am trying to stay in the focus area and my paperwork for declutter.

Tuesday: January 13 - all files culled and organized :D

I am truly appreciative to all of you, as we work together, and I am so so proud of you. It takes great courage, decision making and diligence to de-clutter.

I decluttered the laundry basket by doing 3 LOL, worked on the office box, dumped trash, and we purged junk mail, too. I purged a lot of cluttery papers, which I did not need, too.

Decluttered our mail holder, by sending 4 letters to the mailbox today. :P

what's not working:
I have a wire basket on my dryer of things that need to go into the garage (including recycling) for dh to take out - (our garage is outside our laundry/dog room) However, dh doesn't take the misc things to their put away spot. Recycling goes but the basket is full of things that need to find their place in the garage.

awesome d Nancy!!!

today: magazines de-cluttered, dd younger used bananas ready to die for bread, went through decorating clipped paper (also garden) and most are gone.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfZCdLgcxWo peter walsh challenge for today

from working in my desk (and basement - same area) I have 1 large black (stuffed) bag of garbage - I had to toss also my wreath holder as it had mold in it.. it was actually wet - why? who knows.

i haven't taken dh's shreddings upstairs yet.. one large black bag.

I still need one box (not too big) for a bit of Christmas in one spot of the basement.
I also have a pillow and something else from Halloween to put away.

Started a see through box (and marked) for Christmas stocking stuffers to work on through out the year. We get silly things and practical things.

I've been re-decorating, places, which I tidy up, and the house looks so beautiful! :P

I've been putting things away, from Walmart, as I launder them.

Also, BFF and her DH are coming tomorrow, on my birthday, so I'm tidying up the house a LOT and putting things away, so our home looks beautiful! BFF has an immaculate home, very beautiful, and decorated so wonderfully. You feel so welcome and comfortable there, too. I want them to feel the same way, when they come here again. :) :)

todays de-clutter: Bedroom closet: I worked a 1/2 an hour- tossed a shirt and shorts (frayed that I thought I could make a pattern with but it's not worth the time) so all together 1/4 black bag of garbage gone. I have 2 laundry baskets full of laundry to put away but (one from when I went to laundry mat and one from yesterdays laundry - dh listened but didn't get the concept of not putting laundry on the dining room table... he put it on a dining room chair ;) ) But my closet looks good again.

I can't believe I built this job up in my mind as insurmountable. I do have 2 loads left in laundry baskets but it isn't full of black bags of clean laundry - and bc I decluttered it before Christmas the job didn't take that long considering all the work "I thought" I had

Dd and I worked and got contents of one 2.5 x 2.5 box worth of items from her room either tossed or organized into proper places. She found in the bottom  a pair of slacks she's been missing.

It's actually been a problem for her exam week to fall now, at bedroom cleaning time. I'm reluctant to ask her to keep working much with me in her room, since she needs to spend her time studying. I could use her help with vacuuming.
