One flannel shirt to donate

Coffeemaker died, so that is in the trash. Will donate the coffeepot. It lasted three years...not bad for an $8 special from Wmart! I think I might try a percolator this time.

Dh and I did some garage clean up yesterday - he was wanting to have at it so we did. Garbage can is full for tomorrow, I have a large box going to Goodwill that is stashed in my car, and he took two droopy bookcases to one of the construction dumpsters in the neighborhood.

I need to focus on the clutter inside the house - we are having a lot of guests on Sat night, March 21.

Continuing to sort and clear out things from old stash & dash bags & baskets. It feels good to finally have the time to go through this stuff and get rid of most of it.

I've also been doing a small amount of decluttering in DH's mancave. Obvious trash -- snack bags, food containers that can be recycled, a few dirty dishes he forgot to bring up to the kitchen.

Working on getting yard trash out of the side and back yard here this week. Making progress bit by bit! It is slow going but if I keep plugging away at it I will be able to tell the difference in a few weeks, hopefully before that!

I sorted through a medium sized bag of fabric last night. I pulled out 2 decent pieces to give away on the free table at Saturday's sewing group meeting. The rest I will cut up to make the small book bags for preschool kids.

I also put several small pieces of lining fabric in the trash. That hurt, but they were ugly colors and I honestly couldn't think of any use for them. They had been given to me in a bag of misc. fabrics, so at least I hadn't spent money on them.

d Twins... first have fun on the 21rst!!! Also awesome work to you and your dh... garbage can filled, things in a dumpster, and donations ready to go.. Yay!

d Nancy.. your outdoors will bless you this summer! awesome work

d Book - i think it is so cool that you are making book bags for young ones!
great job on getting rid of some fabric! Also I know the feeling about getting rid of fabric/or in this case lining... it's uncomfortable to get rid of but boy it doesn't make your space feel better (especially when the colors don't feel right)... awesome work!

today: went through some things in my 3 season room where I keep extra kitchen equipment etc. Spent a 1/2 hour there.
I also got rid of some things that were back there that needed to go in the garbage. I also took the large heavy christmas planter out to curb for garbage. Yay.
it is always a joy to be here with you!
