Declutter Strategy Meeting, Quarter-Year Mark 2017

Postby Harriet » Sat Apr 01, 2017 9:11 am

It's April!

Today is a milestone of 2017, as we begin the second quarter of the year!
Is it time to ~^~shake ~^~ things ~^~up ~^~ and try new ideas?

How is your PLAN working - would you enjoy a change?
Is there better CALENDARING that would help keep you focused?
Are their CONTAINERS (trash, storage) you'd like to use differently or replace?
Are you using RECORD KEEPING to your advantage or do you need a change?
Do you need to refocus on DONATION?

Constantly donating here...a sweater, purse, a pair of capris -- remember when those were called pedal pushers? When I finish reading a book, I will usually donate it. Since I buy from thrift stores or library booksales, there is not a big investment in these books.

Big declutter of magazines, catalogs and cooperative mags, all to the recycling. Threw away a book that had information in it I consider out of date and even incorrect - a health related book. Wouldn't want to donate that. Put the previous Goodwill receipt in the tax file.

ellyphant, I used to think the word was "petal pushers" - don't know what petals I thought were being pushed!

Haha, I can see Petal Pushers being a great name for a flower shop!

hi ... I decided that before we can be back on my cleaning focus that I must first make a thorough dejunking otherwise we are just moving things over and over again to clean underneath. It is not working the way I am doing it right now.

positive thoughts! My goal is to get decluttered again by Christmas
