I agree that it's difficult to decide to get rid of small appliances that are designed so well and work so perfectly - but only under the perfect conditions. I suppose sometimes we can admire something without having to be the one who makes space for it in our homes.
My decluttering for several days now has been in craft/sewing area with organization, mostly. On my declutter card I call that "Studio". Today when I needed space to quickly make a small poster for church, there was table space for my cutting mat and I reached right for the materials and supplies, no problem.
Dd has done decluttering of her items in the front bath. Happy about that.
kittykatt, your drawer-space decisions sound smart for t-shirts, etc. One thing I realize I'm dealing with in our bedroom is an old 6-drawer side-by-side dresser with drawers that don't "glide" at all - the word couldn't be used. They clunk along, maybe, but glide? no. And each is very large so that heaviness is a problem. I think HRH and I get to the point we put off opening them and try to store seldom-used items there, but it's a bedroom space that should be convenient. Even though I'm cheap ... I mean, thrifty .... it's probably time I replace that dresser.
