went under the stairs.Donated 70 books today and the red container from dd younger.

learned something - I should have limited dd youngers stuff to what could fit in her room. It was so much for me to deal with and I should have let her have a limited contained shelf for her books and do the one in and one out. I didn't but I have learned that I can't handle too much stuff (especially for future stuff).

dh and I donated 7 good frames. and dh pulled two vases from his d mom and one picture. It isn't him. I was so proud of him.

I have been sorting papers while I look for for something I needed. Found it.
Shreaded some others.
Have a tall kitchen trash can nearly full mostly of envelopes and other odds & ends of stuff that accumulates
that you wonder why on earth you hung on to it.

So happy to have progress made yea!

Got tax stuff together that has come.

it's great that you are working on all that paper work and donating books ! d nancy.

I do love when January comes around and donation time starts for me again. I think I have to continue this during the summer. That's one of my goals.
I didn't declutter anything yesterday but that's okay.

I was shocked that I had already decluttered my girls American girls clothing already - (I just put it into one box).
put things together for dd older for her to go through.
I was finally able to put all our christmas, thanksgiving, halloween, (little bit of easter, valentines day, st. patricks day and 4th of july) all in one area in basement closet. So nice that I have been minimizing for years!

I still need to open one box to see if what's in there is actually what's in there.

got rid of paintings and frames today. Got rid of a painting that I loved but hasn't fit in my home in 22 years. dh came with me to donation centre!

I also had his permission to toss out his broken rusted circular saw - gone.
